Ja'khi's POV
In the morning, I saw everyone surrounding Ethan. As soon as I saw that I immediately felt the guilt from the incident that happened the other day, I couldn't stand to even look at Ethan. I was debating if I should go inside or not, I opened the door to the cafeteria thinking that everyone would hate me. Then I saw Ethan... He was twitching and was trying to bite everyone surrounding him. I looked over and saw Dakota crying on the stage "What's wrong?" I ask her "I-I Let Ethan loose because I thought he might get better, but when I did he tried to attack Marleen and Nevaeh slapped me across the face" She mumbled out. "Oh, is he tied up now?" I asked "Yeah.." she replied. She looked very pale "Are you hungry?" I asked, she didn't respond.
Dakota's POV
Ja'khi had asked me if I was hungry, but I didn't reply as I didn't know what I was feeling at the moment. My stomach felt empty but I didn't want any food. My eyes darted around the room, observing everyone there. Until my gaze locked on Selah. I began to stand up and jump off of the stage. Ja'khi grabbed my arm and said "Dakota calm down bro." He whispered to me so no one else could hear. I slap his hand away and slowly walk towards my target, Selah. I stop walking when I'm infront of her. "Are you okay Dakota, you look a little pale?" She asked. I didn't reply. I could feel my veins showing. I clenched my fists so hard that blood was dripping from them. "No Dakota you don't hurt your friends." I thought to myself. "Dakota..? Why are you drooling." Selah asked with slight concern in her voice. I didn't even realize I was drooling. That's when I snapped out of my trance, I realized how close I was to hurting one of my friends. I ran into the cafeteria bathroom and began to cry even harder than I did before. "I'm a horrible person." I thought to myself as I collapsed on the bathroom floor, quietly sobbing.
I didn't know what was going through my head, I was hungry. So I decided to go see if we had any raw meat. I saw raw chicken and pork. I decided to take the raw chicken because it was pretty good when Summer gave it to me and so I could reduce the feeling of hunger.
