Dakota POV (Chapter4 part2)
Why did I agree to this? I think to myself as I run to the 6-3rd grade building. When I get to the doors of the building I pause. My gut is telling me not to go, but I know I have to do this if I want to become human again. I don't want to be stuck as this human-eating monster forever. I slowly opened the doors. I saw the substance sitting on the desk, I grabbed it and headed back to the cafeteria. Those flesh eating monster we're blocking the door. I decided to go out the back door in my English teacher's room. When I made it to the front of the cafeteria I knocked the monsters down and went inside . Since I was one of those monsters, my memory is a little fuzzy, so I couldn't remember where Our science teacher's classroom was. I opened nearly every classroom, none were the science lab. That means I only have one classroom left. As soon as I got to the door I felt a wave of fear rush over me. "I can't back out now." I thought to myself. I grab the door handle and swing the door open. That was when I saw him, Ja'khi. He was just walking around the room, almost as if he was looking for something. Then he saw me, I knew he recognized me because when he saw me he stared at my bite mark with a guilty look.
