Summer's POV
I checked Ethan's pulse just to make sure he was alive. We all carried him onto one of the mats that the little kids sleep on. "Why do y'all think Jakhi did this?" I asked. "Maybe he couldn't control it " Selah replied. "Probably." While we waited for Ethan to wake up we looked around to see if we could find something useful since they really didn't get the chance to. I decided to go check the office to see if there was anything useful in there that Jakhi or Ethan had missed, I walked in and started to look around until I heard crying I didn't know where it was coming from so I started to look under the desk, until I saw Jakhi, he had a pencil stuck in his eye with blood dripping down from his eye"Umm Ja-" Before I could finish he took off running out the room, I could see tears streaming down his face. I tried to follow him but he was too fast for me to catch up. So I just shouted, "JAKHI IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!" This made him pause for a second, allowing me to catch up with him and grab ahold of his arm. I could hear his quiet sobs."Just come back with us Ja'khi, don't blame yourself just yet. You still have time to explain what happened." I walked him back to the classroom,I was surprised that he let me walk him back, as he's usually hot-headed. I decided to give him a paper napkin so he could stop the bleeding.
