Chapter 13

(Wills POV)

I mean that wasn't bad or anything i wouldn't say it was good though it felt wrong like i did something wrong even though he was the one who kissed me.

"What the fuck man you kissed me back!" Mike yells

"W-what no i didn't you were the one who kissed me."

"God you're such a fucking piece of shit Will."

"W-what."

Why is he saying these things what is wrong with him is he just taking all his anger out on me like he did when i was setting up a dnd campaign and he didn't want to play but i guess i pushed him too far maybe it's my fault?

"God sometimes i wish you never came back from the upside down we would all be happy we would have a better party without you in it and i would still be with El because i love her even though i said i didn't i still do and i know you told her to break up with me. It. Is. All. YOUR. FAULT!"

"M-mike i didn't i would never do that."

I can feel the tears swelling up in my eyes and starting to make their way down my face

"Awww look the little fairy is crying." Lucas chimes in

"fairy fairy fairy." They all start to say as the start circling me and slowly moving in closer.

they are so close at this point that i can hear their breathing.

"It is okay William." a deep voice says 

the creature that said that parts through the circle now this creature is so close to me i can see the vein sort  of things on his body move and make a soft squelching noise.

"William, do you want to see your little friend?"

"W-who."

"Max," He says dragging out the x way longer than necessary.

"Sh-she's in the hospital."

"No she's here with me." 

"how?"

"See."

As i look to my left i see her i see max she's not dead!

"Max?" I say running over to her.

"She can't hear you." He says putting a hand on my shoulder. "We are more alike than you think William. I see my younger self in you we both were known as sensitive kids we both weren't the popular types."

umm what is he trying  to soften me so he can kill me or something?

"There's a reason why you were the one to be taken William."

"What?"

"You have something that only a handful of people have Will."

"what is it?"

"You will find out yourself."

"H-how will i know?"

"You will know William."

What? How am i going to know i forgot we moved last week and was scared because i forgot where i was.

"Will? Will?"

I hear my friends calling me but for some reason i can't open my eyes. Okay okay Will calm down breathe in breathe out, now open your eyes. Oh thank god i can almost see the overwhelming light.

"Oh god Will, man we thought we lost you!"

"No I'm still here but i saw someone."

"Who did you see?"

"Max."

I can see the expression on Lucas's face change as soon as i mention her name.

"What do you mean you saw her?"

"She was there along with a little girl, an older lady and some other kids that had shaved heads."

"Wait, hair like eleven?" 

i didn't look at it like that but wow they do look similar.

"Y-yeah like El."

"Anyway we can ask El abut it later but anyway what about Max did you talk to her."

"No, this viney man said she couldn't hear me."

"Did he have a really deep voice?" Lucas asks

"Yeah like really really deep." I say ask the looks of concern grow on their faces "But he said something else he said something like i needed to find something out about me and how it wasn't my time yet."

"So maybe he doesn't want to kill you?" Mike says quietly

"Maybe, but just in case i better go and talk to my family and each one of you. Just in case i only have one vision left."

"Yeah okay take your time man."

"Thanks Dustin."
