Chapter 12

(Mikes POV) 

So they're telling me that i might loose my best friend all over again i barely survived last time without him, i mean i barely called him god i missed his voice during that year.

"So this my friends is the mall."

"It's kinda underwhelming if I'm being honest." Lucas says.

"Well i did warn you, here i'll show you the arcade." Will says as he walks through the front entrance.

Gees for a one floor mall it sure does seem to have a heck of a lot of shops. But i don't think i see a cinema  or an ice-cream parlor.

"Now this is the arcade it's closed right now because one dude lit a few things on fore a couple of weeks ago so they are still fixing that."

"Bummer, it still looks cool inside though." I say trying to look on the bright side.

"Yeah I guess it's alright id on't really go many places in town though. Do you guys wanna go see rink-o-mania? It's not to far from here so we could probably just walk from here."

"That's fine by me." Dustin replies.

"Yeah same here."

"Then what are we waiting for lead the way Will the Wise." I say. 

Wow Will really does get embarrassed quick he's already bright red.

"How far away is it now we've been walking for like 10 minutes i thought you said it was close." Dustin whines.

"Oh suck it up Henderson."

"It's right there Dustin can't you see it?"

"Oh yeah maybe i should get my eyes tested."

"Possibly." Will says.

As we walk closer it becomes increasingly clear that either it's shut or the powers out.

"Huh thats weird it almost looks like its shut." Will says as we walk closer "but it can't be there are still cars out."

As we walk through the door one of the workers say "Sorry guys the powers out so the arcade games don't work nor do the lights we have about a 30 minute wait before the power comes back on."

"Oh that's okay i was just showing my friends around." Will replies.

"Sorry again guys." The worker yells as we walk away.

(Wills POV)

Wow i swear nothing is going my way today first the arcade it shut but i already knew that but to top it off Rink-o-mania is shut too!

"Sorry guys we can just find a pay phone and call Argyle to come and pick us up."

"No need to feel bad we can just hang at your place."

"Okay."

As i'm walking back to my friends i can hear them quietly talking about me.

"Are you going to tell him Mike? He might only have a couple of hours left."

"I'm nit sure wh-what if he doesn't- well you know."

"The kid still has a bowl cut he's 15 if that doesn't tell you something about him i don't know what will."

"I don't know if i can tell him-"

"Tell me what?"

"Oh it doesn't matter."
