Chapter 18

(Wills POV)

"So El what was it that you wanted to talk about?"

I think i know what she's going to say so i don't know why i even asked it's going to be about me having powers and what it's going to be, shit like that.

"I think you know Will. We need to do the first training."

"Yeah sure are we going to go to your room?" I ask.

"No Holly's in there."

"Well the others are in my room so where could we go? There are people everywhere."

"What about Johnathan I think he's back though."

"That'll be fine, wait what about Nancy isn't she in there too?"

"Oh shit yeah forgot about that."

"EL!!"

"What?"

"YOU CAN'T SAY THAT!!"

"Why not you say it all the time."

"Fair enough. So where are we going to go?"

"We could just go outside."

"But then wouldn't people see us?" I question.

"Well it's dark out now so i don't think there will be many people."

"Okay." I say hesitantly.

I don't know if this is going to work i don't know if i even have powers this might all just be a waste of time. What if someone sees us won't they find it weird or even worse what if there is someone from the lab spying on us and they see us. Even Vecna he might be watching.

I follow El out the door and onto the road. There aren't many people on the road at this time of night so i think it should be safe.

"Okay Will, the first thing we are going to try to do is i'm going to draw something with this piece of chalk and you are going to have to try and figure it out but you have to have your eyes closed."

"Okay." 

How the hell am i supposed to do this i mean shouldn't i get some further instruction like telling me how to do it instead of just telling me to do it?

"Okay Will close your eyes. I'm about to draw something and you have to try and see it."

I close my eyes and try to kind of picture the piece of road in front of me where El is drawing the picture. Holy shit i can almost see something, something red wait i think it might be a heart.

"A heart?" I ask.

"Yes." El says quite shocked.

"Wait really?!" I say opening my eyes.

"Take a look for yourself." 

Holy shit no way it's actually a heart wait so does this mean that i actually have powers this is so cool i mean it would've been cooler to be able to move stuff with my mind but that might be because i only know El.

"Are you okay Will?" El asks after i had been sitting there for a while without saying anything.

"Ye-yeah i'm fine i just can't believe it."

"Yeah it's pretty crazy. Do you wanna try something else?"

"Ummm yeah sure but i'm feeling kind of tired is that normal?"

"Yeah it is when i first started being able to use my powers i would get tired really quick."

"Okay well what are we going to do next?"

"It's almost the same thing but I'm going to give you a picture of someone and you are going to try and find them."

"Okay sounds good."

"Okay I'm going to go get a picture." She says as she stands up and walks inside.

I can't believe it but maybe that wasn't the right thing to do I mean now that I've found it Vecna might take me now and i know that I'm no where near as strong as El so i have no chance of being able to defeat him.

"You aren't ready Will you need to be stronger." I hear a deep voice behind me say.

When i turn around no one is there everything is normal Vecna's not here there's no one making fun of me, nothing.

I start to panic more than I have in a long time my heart is beating in my throat, my breathing starts getting faster and i feel myself going into a full on panic mode.

"Don't panic there's nothing there." I say to myself running my hands through my hair as i start to pace back and forth.

"Don't panic, don't panic, DON'T PANIC!" I start to say my voice getting louder each time it's not working this would usually calm me down a bit.

"It's not working, it's not working! IT'S NOT WORKING!"

"Hey Will I'm back."

"IT'S NOT WORKING!!!!" I scream at El not meaning too.

"Will look around." El says pointing up at the lights.

I look up my hands still running through my hair. The lights they're flickering, did i do this how could i do this i didn't know i could do this! How could I do something that I didn't even know that i could!

My hands drop by my waist in shock the lights stop and i start to feel dizzy like I'm going to pass out before i completely pass out i muster up the strength to say "I don't feel very well."

(Mikes POV)

"SOMEONE HELP IT'S WILL HE PASSED OUT!!!" I hear El scream as she bursts through the doors.

"WHAT!?!?" I yell back as I stand up and run outside followed by Mrs Byers.

Oh my god Will's on the ground is he alive? What if he died and no one was here to save him? I can't lose him there's still so much i want- NO there's so much i need to tell him.

"OH MY GOD WILL MY BABY!" I hear Mrs Byers scream as she runs up to Will.

I want to move but i feel numb and i can't move all the sounds around me are hushed and i can't comprehend what exactly is happening.

I get snapped out of my trance by Mrs Byers yelling. "Oh thank god he isn't dead he's still breathing someone help me carry him inside."

I run forward and grab his legs while Mrs Byers grabs his arms and together we carry him inside and put him down on the bed.

"Maybe he just needs some space?" El says once everyone has calmed down a bit and Dustin and Lucas are gone.

"Yeah I mean he is still alive he just passed out." Hop says putting his arm around Joyce and squeezing her.

"Yeah I mean he wasn't properly possessed by Vecna he just kinda collapsed maybe he was just really tired because before i came in the first time he said she was feeling a bit tired."

"Okay then maybe everyone just goes to bed and tries to get some sleep." Mrs Byers suggests.

"Well what about me?" I say as everyone starts to head off to where they are sleeping. "I'm sleeping in Wills room remember?"

"Ummm yeah it should be fine you can be like his little guardian." Mrs Byers says.

"Okay." I say heading over to Wills room until someone taps me on the shoulder.

"If he wakes up tell me, Okay?" Johnathan says.

"Okay." I say walking into his room.

I pull out my sleeping bag from my stuff and settle down on the floor.

"Please wake up Will." I say repeatedly as i start to fall asleep.
