Chapter 27

(Mikes POV)

This feels so unnatural. I feel like i'm doing something wrong, like this isn't normal, like i'm not normal.

'There's something wrong with me i shouldn't be doing this. I should be doing this with a girl, its wrong but it just feels so right.' I think to myself.

"So... When we see someone we just say that I'm teaching you to skate or that we're just hanging out?" Will says trying to break the tension as we put on our skates.

"Yeah I guess." I say maybe a bit too bluntly. "I'm sorry," I say immediately after i realize.

"It's fine." Will says looking back down at his skates.

"Okay so try just holding onto the wall and then pushing off."

"Okay." I say as i get a good grip on the side.

I bring my feet closer to the wall and slowly turn around so i can push myself off the wall i should be thankful that it isn't very busy today so it's a good day to actually learn how to skate properly.

"Now push off and try not to move your feet too far apart or too close together otherwise you will fall."

"Got it." I say a bit too confidently.

As i push off the wall it all seems to be going great until i look down and see my feet getting a bit too far apart so I try to force them closer.

"Too close." Will shouts after me but just a bit too late because as soon as the words leave his mouth my skates start touching causing me to fall flat on my face.

"You did exactly what i told you not to do mike!" He yells at me offering me his hand which i take.

"Yeah, yeah i think i need a break my head hurts a bit."

"Okay just try walking normally over to the edge just like there are no wheels on the bottom.

"Okay." i say.

I quickly start noticing that when i walk normally i don't seem to be going anywhere very fast. I look back over my shoulder to see Will almost on the floor laughing hysterically.

"YOU LIED TO ME i feel very betrayed." I say turning around and crossing my arms.

"Sorry, sorry it's just so funny but don't wory i did it to El aswell so your not the only person to be fooled by it. it just looks so funny." WIll says barely being able to finsh his sentence before bursting out in a fit of laughter agian.

"SO are you going to help me now?"

"Yeah, just take my hand and i'll drag you out." He says skateing over to me and holding out his hand to me.

"Thankyou."

(Wills POV)

"Do you want to go back out yet?" I ask Mike after about 10 minutes.

"Yeah sure. After we are done here we should go to my house since you haven't seen it yet."

"Sounds good how much longer do you want to stay?"

"Ummmmm maybe 15 more minutes ish."

"Okay. Come on lets go do you wanna just try skatein normally yet?"

"I'll give it a go."

"Sohow do you do this roperly?"

"Well i wasn't 100% lying about the walkng this you almost got it last time we were here you just walk but you have to trasfer your weight from one foot to the other and push off when you first start. Got it?"
