(Mikes POV)

I hope they're done.

As i open the door I can hear hushed voices getting into place. "So this is the basement." I say as  i open the door.

"Why is it so dark in here?" Will asks me.

"well no one goes in here. Holly thinks it's too scary and Nancy's too busy preparing for university or whatever else she does. I'll just turn on the lights." I say walking down to the bottom of the stairs where the switch was located.

"SURPRISE!!" Everyone shouts as soon as the lights flicker on.

(Wills POV)

WHAT IS THIS? why is everyone here?

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Well we felt bad that we never played dnd with you when you wanted and how you haven't played in a while possibly because of us." Lucas says.

This is just too much i don't even remember if i could still play i hope it's just like riding a bike that i'll never forget to play.

"I-I can't, i don't, what if i've forgoten how to play?!"

"Well theres only one way to find out."

"Are you ready to return to us, Will the Wise?" Dustin says holding out my Will the wise costume.

"No way! How did you get this i don't even remember where i left it!"

"A little help from El."

"Thanks El!" I say.

"Will quick your action!" Mike yells at me.

"I, ahh i dont know."

"Runn! It's better safe that sorry!" Dustin yells.

"Don't bail we're so close! Clone yourself then fireball him so he doesn't know what one's you!"

"It's too risky I'm gonna run!"

A knock at the basement door startles us all causing me to knock the table.

"that's weird i told no one to come down here." Mike saying confused

"I'll get it" i say standing up from the table.

The only people it could be would be Mike's family or maybe Johnathan coming to get me, but i don't think Mr or Mrs wheeler would come down and I'm pretty sure Mike said Holly's scared of the basement. I think to myself as i walk up the stairs. I reach out to open the door and as soon as i do the person standing at the other side mumbles something i can't quite make out.

"What?"

"I said, move out of the way you fucking fag!" I look up recognising the voice.

"D-dad? What are you doing here?" He doesn't reply instead he pushes me to the side causing me to almost fall.

Why is he here? He hasn't seen me in 5 years and he decides to show up now! Wait, how does he know we're here Mom never told him at least i don't  think she did. Oh god what he went to my mouse first what if he did something to her, what if he hurt Johnathan. Surely Hop would've helped he's a cop after all. What if that made it worse because i know he doesn't like cops and Hop was probably his least favourite.

I look over to my friends to see dad talking to Mike. What is he doing to him he better not hurt him! wait a minute they're laughing.

"What's going on?" I ask as i walk down the stairs.

"Do you want me to tell him or should i?" He asks Mike.

"Tell me what?"

I thought we swore to tell each other everything now he's keeping secrets from me and talking to my Dad? Even after everything that i told him!

"Oh please let me tell him!" Mike reply's.

"Go ahead"

"God your such an idiot Will! you really though i liked you! You! Out of all people when i have El she's been in on it Lonnie reached out and said he'd at me $50 if i could convince you that i was 'in love' with you. I never liked you Will. I'm not like you Will I'm not a stupid faggot!" He says stepping closer to me.

"No, no this isn't real!"

I know its not it cant be it has to be Vecna he wouldn't do this to me! Even if he doesn't like me he wouldn't tell me like this.

"Didn't you hear the kid? He's normal not like you, you are nothing but a filthy little fag!" Dad says walking up to me so he's standing next to Mike.

As im looking at them i notice the color around me start to change from a nice cream color to a blood red... Vecna.

As soon as I look back where Mike and dad were standing Vecna now stands in their place.

"Are you ready William?"

Oh good this is it I'm dying.

(Mikes POV)

"As you enter you hear an unfamiliar sound coming from deep within the cave, what do you do?" I say

"We go forward moving toward the sound." Dustin reply's

"After only walking a few steps you run into... a group of Carrion Crawlers they are attracted to you by the meat in your bag you previously brought from a village butcher."

"I told you that was a bad idea?" Dustin yells at Lucas.

"We'll how was I supposed to know?!"

"Quick Will your action! Will your action? Will?"

"Oh god guys what's wrong with his eyes?! Robin screams from the couch.

"SHIT!" Steve screams jumping up and running over to Will "WILL? HELLO?" He yells while shanking his shoulders.

I look up at Lucas who seemed to be frozen in place whether out of fear or shock I don't know. What if he actually goes this time I can't loose him!

"Does anyone know his favourite song?!" Steve yells

"I don't know last I heard it was should I stay or should I go by the clash." I yell back.

"Does anyone have that?"

"I think Will has it on his bedside table." El says.

"SOMEONE GO CALL JOYCE OR JUST WHOEVER PICKS UP!" Steve yells.

"I'll go." I volunteer.

"I'll go drive there just in case no one's home." Steve says jumping up and running up the stairs I follow close behind him because there's no phone in the basement.

Oh god I can't loose him! I just can't he better make it through!
