Poem time, my fellow beings

Depression is cancer,
It is silent yet it has an army to just kill you,
It comes and strikes as it wishes,
It's a serial killer's best playmate,

Calling it a shapeshifter is an understatement,
Yet it changes size every second,
It is as simple as can't get out of bed,
To I wish humankind never exist,

It's a vampire that sucks your vital energy,
Now, don't go calling a psychotherapist on me,
My case file even gives the doctor a run to Mount Calvary Golgotha,
Migraine and heartache are endless,

Anxiety is depression long forfeit soulmate,
It is eternally a festival in my head,
Voices can be heard,
The devil in my mind,
Change my lifestyle they say,

Delightfully,
I go make friends,
But the demons have something else in mind,
Wanting to scream,
But there is nothing,

Depression is more than just being sad,
It is a manifestation,
It comes and rips your heart like a parasite,
It is never silent,
Silents tears and wet pillows,

Depression, my dear.
