The next morning I found myself laying on Nadine's bed, her head was on my chest and her beautiful scent was all over me. I couldn't ask for more, I leaned to kiss her hair and I smiled. I finally saw her, I mean one eye only is working so far, but I was so happy yesterday when I opened my eyes and she was just seated on my lap her face all red from what we were doing. She was the prettiest girl I've ever seen.

I felt a hand touch my face and wipe the tears that I didn't know were falling, I blinked a couple of times and looked down at a worried Nadine. She sat up on her elbow to see my face better.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" She said with a worried look, her hair was falling down her chest hiding her breasts so I pushed her hair behind her back and I got a full view on her boobs making me smile widely. They were round and perky and I wanted nothing but to have them in my mouth.

"I don't cry..." I replied leaning to kiss her but she pulled her head back, she grabbed my face and squeezed my cheeks making my lips pout.

"Yes you do, now why were you crying I'm worried Alex" I smiled at her sheepishly but she didn't find it amusing, I just liked the fact that she cared about me so much. Like I'm just happy to exist in her world, where she likes me back and cares about what I feel.

"You're an idiot do you know that?" She said amused and I nodded in agreement, I wanted to feel her warmth on my body again so I wrapped my arms around her waist and pushed her back on the bed, nothing sexual though, I just wanted a hug. I put my face between her boobs and pushed them from each side of my head, I heard her chuckle at my childishness but I didn't care.

"You're very warm....I like it" I mumbled on her skin, she put her hands on my naked back and started rubbing and scratching it softly making me sigh in satisfaction.

"Do you wanna talk about what happened at the car yesterday?" I remembered that she was upset and I wasn't going to pretend that it didn't happen. She was scared of something or someone and I was going to find out eventually who this person is.

"I told you Alex I was just wo-" my hand cut her off by going to her ass and squeezing it harshly. She winced and her grip on my back tightened.

"You better tell me before I find out by myself Nadine, because when I do. No one will be able to stop me from killing them" I said kissing around her chest softly while my hand was still rubbing on her ass.

She gently pushed my head away and I sat back to focus with what she was about to say. Her eyes were scanning my naked body until they reached my morning wood.

"First put something on, you're distracting me" she said her eyes never leaving my hard on, I rolled my eyes and got off the bed. I looked around the room for my boxers and put them on. She pointed to my shirt that was laying on the floor and I picked it up for her, she put it on with a wide smile than took a small sniff making me chuckle. I sat next to her and laid my back on the headboard, her hand slid into mine and she intertwined our fingers together. She put her head on my shoulder and I just leaned to kiss her forehead.

"When you left with Jeff yesterday, Harley was telling me a story about your past and hers. She said her brother died in a fire because of you, and she wants revenge...." My blood was boiling inside of me and my wolf was growling in my head, I was trying to control any sound from exiting my throat that'll make Nadine suspicious.

"She gave me poison and threatened to kill my family if I don't use it on you" she stood up and went to pick her jacket that she was wearing yesterday, in the pockets she took at a small vial, I couldn't smell what was inside of it. It looks just like water and smells like it even.

"I'm scared she'll do something to June, she said she was going to feed her to her wolves or whatever" Nadine was crying by now while holding on to the vial with both hands, I stood up and walked towards her. I took the poison from her hands and pulled her in for a hug, she cried harder in my chest.

"Shh, it's okay princess." In fact everything wasn't going to be okay for someone, she wanted to kill me slowly. I was going to do the same, I looked at the vial in my hand with hatred.

"Did she say anything else?" I asked in all seriousness, Nadine pulled back and nodded her head in agreement.

"The blonde guy and her g-girlfriend were on her side as well" Nadine said as she wiped the tears, she was looking down at her feet and avoiding to look me in the eyes, like she knew something else but wouldn't tell me.

"Girlfriend?" I asked, she nodded again. I thought about it for a second, since Nadine doesn't know about wolves I think Harley told her she had a girlfriend instead of a mate.

"Jackie..." I mumbled, I'll have to suspend this meeting with Rogan. I'm going back home to check on my mother before they hurt her, I kissed Nadine's head and started looking around for my pants.

"Where are you going?" She asked confused,

"To get my mother" I said looking under the bed and I finally found them, I pulled the beige pants and started putting them on.

"What? You're leaving the country?" Nadine said in a scared voice, I looked up at her and her eyes held sadness and her lip was trembling, she was about to start crying again.

"Nadine, my mom could be in danger right now... I'll try to bring her here along with my siblings until I fix everything" I said getting up, I was still topless since Nadine was wearing my shirt.

"I- I wanna go with you..." She hiccuped, I looked at her surprised. I smiled and walked to where to she was standing, I can't take her with me to my pack. It's too dangerous, I don't know who else is with Harley and Jackie.

"Nadine baby, I can't. It's too dangerous for you. I'll be back as soon as things calm down, I promise" I kissed her lips and she kissed just as hard, I could taste the saltiness of her tears and I hugged her closer to my chest trying to savour her beautiful scent.

"I'll talk to a friend and see if they can protect you when I leave." She didn't reply she just looked like she wanted to say something, I sighed and rubbed my face in frustration. I pecked her lips and asked her to give me a shirt of hers that she thinks would fit me because I didn't want to ask her to take off my shirt when she looked so cute in it.

She handed me an oversized black shirt that fit perfectly, I smiled at it happily because it had her scent all over it. No one should know that I could see with one eye, I dont trust anyone but Nadine so I put my sunglasses on. When I was ready to leave I leaned to peck her lips again before heading for the door.

"I know what you are!" She yelled as soon as I opened the door, I stopped confused at what she was saying. Her heart was beating at a 100mph, I turned to look at her with a confused look.

"What are you saying?" I asked, she took a few steps forward until she was right in front of me. Her hands went to my face and held it softly, I was still looking down at her confused.

"Harley told me, the reason why lost your eye sight in the first place. I know you're a werewolf Alex and I know that we're mates, she told me..." I couldn't believe what I was hearing, something inside of me was happy that she knows we're mates but something else, that I didn't know was telling me she was feeling pity for me that's why she slept with me.

She was feeling bad and wanted to make me feel better, she wanted to fix what she's done since it's her departure that made me lose my sight.

"I'll see you when I come back" I grabbed her wrists and pulled them away from my face then left the room with an unreadable look and an aching heart.
