CHAPTER 28

Nadine

At night, I laid on my bed unable to find sleep. It's been about a week since we found Alex, she's been playing around with the twins but mostly she'd sit and watch. Nothing else, she'll just watch everyone, I wanna know what's going on in her head, what she's feeling.

The next morning I woke up for the first time without my twins trying to get my boobs out of my shirt which kind of weirded me out. I stood up looking around, even under my bed because one time I did find Kai sleeping there.

It was very early in the morning and I don't think anyone was awake yet. I heard giggling coming from the living room so I sneaked there to see what was happening.

I gasped but quickly slapped my hand on my mouth to shut me up, Kai was sitting on a human Alex. She was sitting on her naked stomach and staring at her in awh. Alex did have lots of tattoos all over her and my child never met someone with tattoos.

Alex's chest was exposed obviously but thankfully her lower part was covered with a blanket. Kai crawled closer to Alex's face and grabbed her cheeks which made her stir a bit.

"Kai" I whispered yelled, she looked at me with a innocent smiled before putting her finger in Alex's nose. I sighed at the behavior of my kid and went to her, I tried to pick her up but she started crying which woke Alex up and she didn't seem happy. She growled at me without opening her eyes and I let go of Kai who stopped crying immediately and laid her head on Alex's chest.

I decided to let them be and I'll come back later when she wakes up fully, I went to the twins room and found Jayden half awake on the bed.

"Good morning baby" I said with a soft smile, she giggled at the sight of me and quickly got up on the bed like she wasn't half asleep a second ago. She put her hands out for me to pick her up and I did just that.

"Are you hungry?" I asked walking out of the room, the twins also have to eat vegetables and fruits to get healthy they can't rely on my breast milk.

"Boobie?" She asked pulling my shirt down but I grabbed her little hand pulling it away and shook my head no. When we walked past the living room I noticed Kai sleeping on top of Alex and I smiled at the scene, I never thought seeing this would make me want to cry of happiness. I always wished she was alive and here with me, with us and when she's finally here I couldn't believe it, it was like a dream come true.

Jayden started wiggling her feet to get out of my grip so I put her down on her feet, she ran towards the couch where Alex and Kai were sleeping and tried to climb but she was having a hard time doing so.

I was about to go help her when Alex grabbed Jayden by the arm and pulled her up with one simple and swift movement. I giggled slightly at the sight and went to the kitchen to fix them breakfast.

Alex

I felt something tickle my nose and movement on my stomach, I haven't slept this good in a while and when I opened my eyes I realized why. My eyes widened as they stared at my hands, I was surprised that Vee had finally let us shift back.

My eyes shifted from my fingers to the baby sitting on my stomach with a curious look, she had dark hair and red eyes and toothy smile. While the other baby was sleeping on my legs.

"Hi there" I whispered to Kai, she crawled closer to my face and put both her hands on my cheeks and started tapping on them hard. I smiled at her action and kissed her chubby arms, she seemed to enjoy that because she let out a little giggle.

"Pretty lady you are" I said pulling her closer, she was only in diapers and she looked so tiny and cute. I chuckled when she leaned on my face preventing me from breathing so I tried to move her away but I was distracted by Jayden waking up and I was scared she'll fall off the couch.

I was expecting her to crawl to me like Kai did but she stood up and walked on the couch towards me, when she reached my stomach she jumped on it making me groan which was entertaining to them because they started laughing at my pain.

"Oh you think it's funny...come here!" I started tickling Kai since she was the closest, while Jayden just laughed her ass off and took a comfortable seat on my stomach.

"Breakfast is ready" a feminine voice said from the other side of the room, I looked at Nadine who was leaning against the door frame and smiling at us. Her hair grew longer than the last time I saw her and so did her boobs, I noticed them first.

"I- I'm naked down there. Can you get them?" I asked her nicely, she nodded and walked to the kitchen which made me confused I thought she was going to pick them up.

"Who wants milk?!" She called from the kitchen, the babies at the sound of their favorite word climbed down from the couch quickly like little monkeys and ran to their mom. Their mom...

I smiled at the thought and got up wrapping the blanket around my waist and went to the bathroom to take a shower and shave. I've missed the warm water and everything I had in my bathroom, soap, shampoos, conditioners.

I stayed there for a while before leaving to my old room to change, it was filled with Nadine's scent and I loved it so much because she was staying here. After a while of searching I finally found some boxers and my clothes that were put in a storage box. I put a white hoodie with grey sweatpants before going back downstairs.

I went to the kitchen and saw Nadine with her back turned to me. She was washing the dishes while humming a song, so I sneaked behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her against me. My body felt complete, she fit perfectly like my missing puzzle. I buried my face in her hair and tightened my grip around her.

"Goddess....I missed you so much" I whispered softly, she relaxed in my arms and leaned her head back on my shoulder exposing her neck to me. I licked my lips and leaned to kiss her soft skin that I missed so much, she was still very warm and smelled so good...

I turned her to face me and I noticed a smile on her face, I pushed her hair behind her ear and gently caressed her cheek. Such a beautiful woman, and I was so lucky to have her.

I captured her lips in a soft meaningful kiss and pulled her impossibly close to me. She was my other half and I loved her so much, and this kiss was showing her how much I've missed her and how much she means to me. Truly...
