[DIA] (BFDI x II) A Black Hole living on Earth

Investigation 2

(Author's Note: This takes place before Rebuilding Friendships)

Tennis Ball's P.O.V:

Golf Ball has told me to meet at her (secret factory) after school, I wonder what she wants to talk about, Maybe she got another plan to find out what Vortex is! I head around the back of her house next door and input the secret code, then a hidden door in the backyard opens, as I walk down the stairs the door closes behind me, Golf Ball's factory and laboratory is a secret between her and me, I went all the way down and find her on her desk most likely examining her notes still. She seemed to noticed my presence without having to turn around.

Golf Ball: Oh good, you came.

Tennis Ball: Of course I came. What did you want to talk about?

Golf Ball: I've come up with a new plan! Enough people by now have interacted with Vortex at least once, some if not most of them by now has to have witness something that proves that Vortex is not normal! You and me are going to interrogate these people into telling us what we know!

Tennis Ball: That's a great idea!

GB: One more thing, we're not gonna interrogate anyone from Death P.A.C.T, they know him enough to get suspicious of ours plans and they'll most likely not tell us anything!

TB: Okay then, How about we start with Needle? One time I saw her, her right arm was ridiculously long she couldn't even use it, I bet that has something to do with Vortex!

GB: Good call Tennis Ball, now let's go!

Golf Ball and I leave the factory and begin our interrogation on everyone in the neighborhood starting with Needle.

GB: Needle, have you by any chance witness anything.. strange about Vortex?

Needle: I strangest encounter I can recall was when I first met him, he called me 'Needy' and when I tried to slap him my arm got spaghettified, I couldn't even move it. At least it wore off like he said it would, so I'm not mad at him for it.

TB: Do you have any idea has to how that happened?

Needle: Well he did say that his body can break reality and that he's still getting the hang of it, the arm thing was probably something he never knew would happen until now. I hope he's gotten better at controlling it now.

Needle closes her door at us and we take notes, next was Snowball.

Snowball: Something wrong with Vortex? Now that I think about it, there's no way he has the stamina to keep dodging me for whole week like he said, unless of course he's a mechanical object, but I saw NO robot bits on him so that had to be a bluff!

Golf Ball: Anything else? Anything ominous?

Snowball: Well he wanted to make this between me and him but I don't care so I'll tell! He claims to have 'dangerous' skills that make him more than capable of anything he thinks I can't understand! Now get outta here!!

GB and I run for it and still run on our way to Nickel's house.

*ding dong*

Tea Kettle: Oh, well hello there you two. What brings you here?

TB: Hi Ms. Kettle.

GB: Is Nickel home? We need to have a talk with him.

Tea Kettle: Oh he is, let me call him down. Nickel dear, your friends are here to speak with you!

Nickel: I'm coming, I'm coming... Oh.. you two, just to make things clear I do not consider you 'friends'.

GB: Yeah I bet, Have you seen any weird occurrences with Vortex?
