Living With Him

Chapter 13

RANIA is waiting for someone that scheduled a meeting with her. Of all the things she hated, waiting for someone is the top of it. She really hates waiting for someone and making themselves important where all her time is precious and just.

She picked up her handbag and ready to leave the place yet she was stopped by a barritone voice.

"Where are you going? I'm sorry for being late." The guy said to her and apologized.

Rania was taken a back when he saw the man's face.

What is he doing here?

Rania ask to herself after sh saw his face. Kanina lang at noong isang araw niya lang ito naiisip ngunit ngayon ay nasa harapan na niya ito.

She doesn't know how to react or what to say to him. The atmosphere suddenly became awkward yet Rania would not deny she also feel excited at the moment upon seeing the man in front her.

"What are you doing here?" she asked him while composing herself.

Tumikhim pa nga siya ng kaunti para maibsan ag nakabara sa lalamunan niya. Hindi niya talaga iniexpect na ito pala ang makakameeting niya sa araw na iyon. Para bang pinagtatagpo talaga sila ng tadhana o baka assuming lang siya?

"I didn't properly introduce myself last time. We're supposed to have a meeting in this same place," he said and sat in front of her.

"By the way, I'm Samson. Samson Gabe Yu of Yu Holdings and Empire."

He introduced himself and extended his hand for her. Rania was reluctant to accept his hand but it will be disrespectful of her if she will deny him.

Nag-aalangan na inabot ni Rania ang kamay niya sa lalaki at nakipagkamay dito.

When their hands touched, Rania can feel some sort of electricity sparks within her veins the moment they shaked hands. That's why she had to pull away her hands first because of that intensity that she cannot explain.

She has encounter a lot of people and plenty of men back in the years since she stated pretending as her cousin, Margarette, yet it is the first time that she felt something like that with a stranger.

"Waiter," Samson called to a waiter because he probably might order something.

A younger guy came to their table and bow his head to both of them before he asks for their order.

"I want to have coffee, no milk and less sugar. Thanks." Samson said to the waiter and looked at her.

Rania instantly got what he meant so she automtically looked at the waiter and told her order. She doesn't want to eat anything so she just ordered avocado milk shake since she's also craving for a cold beverage.

After they finally done ordering the waiter left and prepared it for them.

A moment of silence dominated the atmospehere and nobody dares to talk. rania was trying her best not to make any single act of stupidity as she can feel his stares boaring at her.

She can feel his gaze piercing through her being and she doesn't know why he was doing that to her. It's very awkward for her and she's kinda new of it. She doesn't understand why he's staring at her for no reasons.

Tumikhim si Rania para magimulang magbukas ng pag-uusapan. "So, as far as I remember, we tackled about the expansion of this business..."

"I am not here to talk about business."

Samson cut her off and looked intently at her after.

Okay. This is getting more weird and awkward.
