Meet - nick burkhardt x Monroe!sister

SUMMARY: Monroe's sister, Nina had visited him but what she didn't expect was a Grimm there too.

WHEN NICK KNOCKED ON MONROE'S DOOR, HE HEARD THE SOUND OF 2 LAUGHS COMING FROM INSIDE. He knew the only 2 voices he normally heard was Monroe and Rosalee but the voice didn't seem to sound like hers. It was more sweeter and higher but it was music to his ears nonetheless

Nina, Monroes sister was inside. She usually only visited once a month but she had got a place nearby a few days ago so she was going to see a lot more of her brother now

Monroe was ecstatic finally being able to see more of his sister and so was she, she had felt so isolated not being around him

Monroe and Nina were playing darts laying and talking when a knock sounded. Nina smiled before rushing to the door and opening it, expecting it to be Rosalee who had gone to get some takeaway but once Nina opened the door she froze. It wasn't Rosalee. It was a man instead and immediately she felt attracted to the man she had never seen before. She studied him, growing shy under his confused gaze and unintentionally woged. She stood staring at this man and watched as a blackness invaded his eyes making her gasp. If she was human she wouldn't have known. But she's a blutbud and she saw it as clear as day. He's a Grimm

She staggered back before rushing to Monroe and hiding behind him as nick walked through the door

"Monroe he's a Grimm!" She whimpered out grasping the back of his shirt

"He's my friend Nina" she shook her head before hiding it once she showed her true form from being so scared

"Please don't let him kill me. I haven't killed anyone I swear! Ever! I- I work at a hospital with sick children. Please don't let him kill me" nick always felt bad when Wesen were scared of him when they had no reason to be and he felt even worse now knowing that this girl was utterly terrified of his presence

"He's not like that. He's my friend and he won't hurt you" Monroe said turning around. He peeled her hands off his shirt and nodded at her, trying to tell her she could trust him

"I-I'm sorry" Nina whimpered once Monroe had stepped out of the way giving her a view of nick
"I ran into a Grimm once. He tried to kill me. I'm sorry" she apologised once again. He shook his head and took a cautious step forward before holding his hand out to her

"I'm nick burkhart. It's nice to meet you"

"I'm Nina" she whispered. She wouldn't lie, his hand felt amazing against her own that she almost had to force her hand back at her side and nick couldn't disagree either. From the moment he had saw the sight of Nina she had caught his eye. She held an unnatural beauty he had never seen before and he felt an urging need to protect her though he just pushed that thought away

"Nina's my sister" Monroe said and that had nicks eyes widening
"I like to keep my personal life a secret, so no one kills her and all" nick nodded along and the door to the house opened once again but this time it actually was Rosalee. She immediately smiled and made her way over to Nina and hugged her before moving to Monroe

"I got dinner. Nick, are you eating with us?"

"Of course he is" Monroe scoffed with a light tone
"He always does now" Monroe put his hand on nicks shoulder whilst Rosalee and Nina walked away talking about what was on the television later on

"You seem strange" Rosalee caught on as they got some plates from the kitchen

"What do you mean?"

"I dont know, you just seem different?" The small girl let off a small shrug

"Maybe I'm just tense, with nick being a Grimm and all" Rosalee knew that wasn't the case but she agreed anyways
