Imagine: pranking your boyfriend by calling him another guys name

A LIFE IN BEACON HILLS WHEN THERE WAS NO SUPERNATURAL CREATURES AFTER THE PACK WAS A NORMAL ONE, AND though some people found it boring Derek and Maeve both loved it. They loved having more spare time so they could lay under the sheets all day when Maeve wasn't at school. She would go to his after school and because her mom didn't mind where she was a lot of her time was spent at the loft. Scott did however mind since he was her brother

It wasn't a fact he didn't like Derek, he just didn't like his sister having a boyfriend. But he still preferred when she was at home, even if it was with Derek. Though he would make sure he was wearing headphones just in case otherwise he would throw up or probably go in there and punch Derek

They both loved their time together, especially Derek. He loved how she smelt of him after wearing his clothes so anyone would know she was his

But some people (Lydia, Kira and malia) didn't really have a lot to do when they weren't saving beacon hills. Especially when Lydia had barely any classes to keep her occupied

So when the girls wanted to prank people they automatically turned to Maeve. Derek was the moodiest of them all, and although Maeve loved that about him, cause he wasn't really like that with her, they found Derek prank worthy

Maeve didn't care for pranks that much but when it was one that wouldn't physically hurt Derek in any way she agreed

The pack was all watching something at Scott and Maeve's house when Maeve went into the kitchen to get something to eat that wasn't the pounds of popcorn on the table. She knew Derek would follow her so she gave looks to the girls telling them the prank was about to start. She grabbed some crisps and started eating them whilst simultaniously making herself something to drink but as she felt Derek's arms wrap around her waist she smiled

"Hey" he mumbled, his lips tracing her neck. She squirmed and put the cup down before turning to Derek's hold. She wrapped her arms around his waist in a hug before pulling away and eating her crisps making Derek frown

"Can you just pay attention to me? Eat after" he mumbled and she let off a small laugh before bringing one to his lips. He opened his mouth and she fed him, smiling as he ate it and brought her into a kiss but she pulled away after a few seconds

Maeve: "Can you pass me my water?" He shook his head kissing her again but she just laughed.
"I need my water Mike, I'm thirsty" Maeve could swore she saw Derek's heart drop.

"What?" He questioned. His arms released her and he took a step back in a split second

"What's wrong?" She questioned pretending to be confused

"Who's Mike?" He asked glaring at the countertops as he tried to think of someone with that name

"Mike? I dont know anyone called Mike"

"Well you obviously do cause you just called me him. Who the hell is he Maeve?"

"Derek I swear I-"

"Maeve don't lie. Don't lie to me. I heard you say his name. I have to leave" he said running his hand down his face

"No- Derek don't go" he didn't listen and turned on his heel but she quickly ran in front of him and stopped him

"Maeve let me-"

"I'm joking baby. It was a prank" she rushed out and he stopped
"It was lydias idea. I dont know anyone called Mike" he looked around confused not meeting her eyes so she placed her hand on either side of his cheek
"Derek. There's no one else. I can call Lydia in to confirm my story, or any of the other girls" he shook his head but let out a large sigh of relief. Instead of saying anything he picked Maeve up my her waist and held her tight against him. She wrapped her legs around him and placed her arms around his neck

"You scared the shit out of me" he grumbled

"I know. Im sorry. I love you" she whispered

"I love you too" he replied. He started walking but instead of going into the living room he took them both upstairs where they could both just cuddle in Maeve's room
