OUTSIDE MONICAS APPARTMENT JOEY AND EVIE WALKED UP TO THE DOOR. JOEY WAS INTRODUCING HIS GIRLFRIEND TO HIS FRIENDS AND HE WAS EXITED. He had nothing to be worried about since he knew his friends would like her but evie was nervous
"Are you sure you want me to introduce myself to them? I think we should just hold it off" Joey shook his head and smiled, turning to face her and placing his hands in hers
"There's nothing to be worried about. They'll love you, just as much as I do" Evie bit her lip softly and nodded
"You think so?"
"I know so. Chandler already loves you and everyone else will too" chandler had known about evie for a while now from when she would stay over at Joeys so she had gotten to know him pretty well. Her and chandler got along quite well. It took a while but chandler and evie gained a brotherly sister bond and his sarcasm made her feel comfortable around him
"Okay" she whispered. She stood up on her tip toes and leaned up to kiss Joey who smiled
"Are you ready?" He questioned and she nodded, pulling away and allowing him to open the door
Her hand on his tightened as all of them in the room looked to them and immediately his friends were rushing over
"Hi, I'm Monica!" A girl with black hair walked forward first. She brought evie into a hug
"I'm evie" a brown haired guy went forward next and shook her hand
"I'm Ross" She smiled at him and 2 other girls stood in front
"I'm Rachel and this is pheobe" they each brought evie into hug
"It's nice to meet all of you, joeys told me so much" she moved over to chandler and greeted him, not needing a formal meet
"He's told us all about you too" pheobe said with a smile and evie turned back to Joey slightly confused
"He did?"
"Of course I did" Joey said moving forward and wrapping one arm around her. He took his other hand in hers and brought it to his lips, placing a kiss on the back "You mean a lot to me" she turned a light pink as she smiled and looked away from his gaze
"Come, take a seat. I made cookies. One thing joey told us was that you love white chocolate chip cookies" evie nodded and let out a laugh as she took a seat at the table and all joeys friends sat around them too. Monica moved some cookies off the cooling rack and placed them in the middle of the table
Rachel: "So what do you do?"
"I'm a graphic designer. I work independently so I don't have to follow orders and I can choose my own hours"
Phoebe: "So you like art then?"
"Yes. Aside from it being work most of the time I actually enjoy working. That's what makes it better for me. Like how you are a masseuse, you enjoy that right?"
"Yes. I do. It almost seems less of a job right?"
"Right?" Both Phoebe and evie let out laughs

Joey and evie said their goodbyes before they made their way into his apartment, evie letting out a nervous sigh of relief
"Do you think they liked me? Did I talk to much? Oh my gosh, did I blow it?" Joey let out a laugh and pulled evie into a kiss
"You was amazing. Everyone in there loved you" evie let out a sigh and moved her hands to the back of his neck "Thank you for meeting my friends"
"Of course. You speak so highly of them. I wanted to know them, I was just nervous"
"Well there was no need because you crushed it"
"I did didn't I?" She teased, letting off giggles as Joey softly tickled her sides
