"HARRY POTTER... IS DEAD" VOLDERMORT'S WORDS SENT a wave of dread throughout every single person that stood in front of the death eaters with Harry laid in Hagrid's arms not moving
Immediately Ginny Weasley ran forward
"No! No!" She screamed rushing closer but her father, Arthur Weasley grabbed her and kept her
"Silence. Stupid girl. Harry Potter is dead" Voldemort walked slowly closer to the rest of the school and Daisy looked around for Draco
If anyone asked Daisy who Draco was to her she would probably smile and look away as she thought, and once she got over her blush she would say he's the most amazing she's ever met and that he meant the world to her
If anyone asked Draco he would glare at them, wondering what they wanted with Daisy. Then he'd probably say she saved his life. When he was detatching himself from everyone when he became a death eater, the shy Gryffindor stayed with him
Daisy and Draco became friends in their second year which Draco didn't even expect to happen. Especially since she was a muggle-born.
He had walked up to the girl he found pretty, finding her reading in the library and when he asked if he could sit down she shrugged and he took a seat
"So what's a pretty girl like you doing here?" Daisy thought about answering him but instead she started packing up her stuff leaving Draco confused
"Sorry" she muttered but she couldn't forget what he had said to Hermione earlier that day "But I doubt you'd want to speak to a mudblood" truthfully she didn't expect the words to leave her mouth but they did and she couldn't take them back as she walked away
But she didn't realise Draco had got up to follow her
From that day on Draco found himself not hating anyone that wasn't a pureblood. It was like his fathers words from his childhood had just been erased by the girl he was infatuated with. She didn't speak much, but when she did he smiled every single time
They were best friends and then got together at the start of their fifth year and even through voldermort she made sure she stayed with Draco through it all. She knew he didn't want this, she also knew voldermort threatened to kill him and his family so she didn't hate him when he had to do things he didn't want to
During the battle of Hogwarts Daisy knew Draco had been freeing the slytherins in the dungeons so they weren't hurt if the school collapsed but she hadn't seen him since and she was worried he had been hurt or worse, killed
