Imagine: peters girlfriend being scared of storms

PETER WAS AT HIS USUAL SATURDAY WITH THE AVENGERS THOUGH NONE OF THEM WAS DOING ANYTHING IMPORTANT. They were just all scattered around the room. Bucky and Steve were watching some old show whilst sam groaned at it for being too old, Tony was getting juice from the kitchen whilst talking to Bruce. Pepper, Natasha and Wanda was sitting at the dining table talking and Thor and vision were in a conversation no one cared about

Peter was sitting with the super soldiers, and Sam, not minding whatever was on the tv when he took a glance outside. It was storming, and as soon as he looked lighting struck, lighting up the room he got up.

He moved over, without another thought and went into his room before bringing out his backpack

"Kid, where are you going?" Sam asked confused making Peter look up from what he was doing. He had honestly forgotten how nosey they were

"I need to go somewhere" he said looking inside his bag

"Where?" He looked up at Tony who had butted into the conversation

"To my friends place"

"Friend. It's not ned otherwise you would've said his name. Who is it?"

"My girlfriend, Luna" all around the room their eyes all widened not expecting them words to come out of his mouth

"First off. Kid. You can't go out there it's storming. Second. When did you get a girlfriend?" The whole of the rooms' attention was on them both now and he sighed. They all had expectant looks on their faces, some amused but most confused on why he hadn't told them about this mystery girl. As much as he loved talking about her, he really needed to go

"3 months ago. Mr stark I really need to go"

"What's the rush?"

"She doesn't like storms, she gets scared. She doesn't do good with loud noises and I know she'll never call me to go over but I still make sure I'm there anyway for her" he ignored how the girls in the room awed at what he said and how the guys all had smiles or smirks on their faces

"Do love her or something spiderling?" Thor asked, his booming voice echoing around the room

"Of course, but-" Peter knew you would physically be fine without him there but he always liked to be around for you. It made him feel good that he was making you feel the same

"Go" mr stark interrupted him
"But you better introduce her to us soon" Peter nodded shifting his backpack over his shoulders

"You got it mr stark" Peter turned on his heel and went back to his bedroom where he then changed into his Spider-Man suit

"How does Peter get a girlfriend before any of you idiots?" Natasha snickered at Steve, Sam and Bucky who rolled their eyes

From when the storm started Luna had tried to keep herself occupied but none of her attempts could get her mind off the raging storm outside so instead she cuddled up under the blankets, keeping her hands over her ears as she shook in fear

It wasn't long after the storm had started when the window to her room had opened. She heard the storm get momentarily louder before quieter again and she knew the window must have shut

It was no question on who it was. Peter was the only one that visited her when it was storming outside no matter how many times she tried to tell him she was alright. He just didn't listen

He walked over to her and she lifted the blanket up slowly hearing his footsteps and he smiled lifting his mask of to kiss her on the forehead

Her eyes shut momentarily feeling in peace for a second before the storm suddenly started to get louder

"I'm going to change out of my suit, I'll be back" she nodded and he walked into the bathroom connected to her room and he took his wet suit off easily, thankful it was waterproof by stark, then he put some sweats and a T-shirt on before making his way back over to his girlfriend

He lifted up the covers and slid inside, his arms going immediately around his shaking girlfriend

"You don't have to come here every time Peter" she whispered, already finding comfort in him being there

"I want to, I want to make sure you're okay" she softly smiled, humming in content as he ran his fingers up and down her bare arm. She still shook and whimpered at the sound of the storm outside so he tried to get her mind off it
"The avengers know about you" this piqued her attention and she looked up at him

"How come?"

"I wasn't keeping you a secret from them, well I kinda was but if they asked if I had a girlfriend I would've said yes. I just wasn't telling them the truth. Anyways, I was at the tower when I realised it was a storm so I got ready to come over here but then Sam saw me. And everyone listened in so I just told them" she nodded, manoeuvring herself so her face was pressed in the crook of his neck
"They want to meet you"

"Meet me, why?"

"They want to know who one of the most important girls in my life is" a giggle escaped her lips and she placed a kiss wherever her lips reached
"You can meet them whenever you want to, it's up to you"

"I just need a bit of time, I'm a bit nervous"

"You have all the time in the world babe" his voice softened as he realised she had started to fall asleep and it also seemed like the storm was clearing too. He didn't know whether to stay. He had. Many, many times but he didn't know if he was allowed to, he always wanted her permission

"Stay" she mumbled wrapping her arms around him
"Stay here with me" he softly smiled and nodded, kissing her head for a second before pulling away
"Thank you for taking care of me"

"I always will"
