IT WAS A USUAL DAY FOR JADE. SHE WOULD WAKE UP, PICK POCKET. ONCE SHE HAD THE MONEY SHE BROUGHT FOOD and any spare would go in a tin she was saving for some new clothes
Today was like her usual day
Jade stood at the edge of an alleyway of the one she had been staying at. She looked around and found someone in sight. She was a woman, with straight red hair and pale skin
From what jade saw she seemed to be money comfortable which meant that she was the perfect target. She would never pick pocket someone who seemed like they didn't have a lot but thankfully this woman did
She wasn't alone though. No, she was with a man who was very muscly. But that didn't scare jade. Because if she did it right they wouldn't even know what she was doing in the first place
She placed the hood of her oversized tracksuit half way over her head and walked out of the alleyway not drawing attention to herself
She continued walking but made it so she was walking towards the man and woman. The woman seemed about 3 inches taller than her but the man seemed just about a foot taller
She continued walking, acting like she was not paying attention and just like she wanted she bumped into the pair
She dropped, falling on her back with a wince. But the pain was apart of the job
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" the girl winced the guy knelt beside her
"I'm okay" she muttered "I'm sorry for bumping into you"
"Don't worry about it" the woman replied. She held her hand out to the girl who took it. She brushed herself off once she was up off the floor
"Thank you" she smiled at the pair. They nodded and jade thanked them once again as they turned around to walk in the direction they were heading to in the first place
They both went off in the other directions but jade stood far enough to see them off. But once they got a bit far from her vision she saw the woman go in her pocket. She came up empty and spoke to the guy who did the same thing beofre quickly turning in her direction
She started to continue to walk so she didn't seem suspicious but once she turned back she saw them running so she broke into a sprint
They weren't far off her tail and for some reason she just had a feeling she picked the wrong people to pick pocket today
She turned in a different alleyway and immediately she turned to the 2 who were right behind her
Jade didn't want trouble. She just wanted money to eat so if this was causing a fuss she can pick pocket someone else
