Chapter 14

I woke up the next day with a smile because I didn't have any nightmares, none whatsoever but that smile faded right away seeing the bed empty beside me.

I sat up and looked around but didn't find manik around, I grabbed my phone and saw it was 8 in the morning which is early cause we had to be down in the lobby at 10.

I got up and heard the door open making me look at the door. It was a sweaty manik coming in, he dropped his keys and phone on the table.

he looked at me and a beautiful smile adored his face.

"Good morning princess" he said walking to me

"Good morning" I said yawning and heard him laughing

"Slept okay" he asked stepping closer

"Umm hmm so okay, you" I asked putting my head on his chest

"I also slept amazing" he said caressing my hair

"Ewwww you are so sweaty" I said and he chuckled

"I just came back from the gym"

"Can I come with next time" I asked resting my chin on his chest

"Of course princess"

I nodded in his chest and we just stood there for a bit

"Princess I'm drenching in sweat" he said

"I don't care" he chuckled hearing this

"Should we explore today or did you wanna stay in" he asked

"Umm what do you wanna do" I asked

"I want to explore a bit but not too much, I want to tr yummy food and walk around a park or something with you" he said looking down at me

"Then let's explore" I said and he shook his head

"But what do you wanna do" he asked

"Nothing in particular"

"There must be something"

"Umm I want to go to the beach but we are already doing that tom so I actually have nothing in mind"

"Well then my princess, we are going to explore the city a bit then we will have some yummy food, does that sound like a plan" he asked and I nodded

I let go of him, moving back and a frown appeared on his face.

"What" he asked

"Shower" I said and he leaned down pecking my forehead

"You are beautiful" he mumbled against my forehead

"You don't have to lie" I said looking down

He pulled back and held onto my face cupping my cheeks

"When I tell you that you are beautiful, I mean it Nandini, I have never seen such a beautiful soul before. You are drop dead gorgeous Nandini, not just externally, I mean internally too" he said

I knew he wasn't lying because his eyes were telling the truth, his eyes would never lie to me

"Do you understand me nandini" he asked and I nodded

"I like words princess" he said in a soft gentle tone

"I understand, sorry for ruining your mood" I said

"You didn't" he said with a smile

"I will go shower okay then you are gonna shower too because I got all my sweat on you too" he said chuckling a little

"Ewww" I said looking down to see my top sweaty

"Hey it's not that bad, it's umm it looks aesthetic and now people will think you worked out too"

"I did work out, I walked to you from the bed that's a good workout" he laughed hearing me

His laugh is so melodic, I absolutely love his laugh.

"You are so silly princess" he said grabbing a towel walking to the bathroom with his clothes

I sat down on a chair with a towel and my clothes in my hands.

I smiled remembering the stars last night, it is something I want to do everyday, I mean I could do it back in the dorms too but it's not as bright but maybe with manik they will be brighter

"Go shower" I heard manik making me look back to the bathroom door

He was walking out of there in a t shirt and ripped jeans rubbing his hair with the towel

"Yes sir" I said walking to the bathroom

"Nandini what do you want for breakfast" I heard manik as I was stepping out of the shower

"Anything" I said

"Im already confused nandini, just tell me na" I giggled hearing this

"Umm what's on the menu" I asked

"A lot of shit that doesn't look like breakfast" he said

"Like what" I asked putting on my jeans

"Like sweet stuff umm like waffles, hello I want something yummy not healthy" he said

"Okay but then what do you want" I asked

"Ahhh this is so difficult" he sounded frustrated

I hung my towel and then walked outside to find manik looking all annoyed making me chuckle a little

"Nandini yar" he said

"Umm hmm" he turned to me

"Woahhh okay umm damn girl"

"Manik"

"What? You look gorgeous"

"Thank you" I mummbled

"Okay food, help please"

"Umm you want savoury right" I asked and he nodded

"Get scrambled eggs with toast since you also just worked out" I said and he thought about it for a second

"Yes ma'am, you want the same" he asked

"Im not hungry" I said and he nodded

"Hello, can I get 2 orders of scrambled eggs, spicy and some toast with jam umm ya thats fine, thanks" he said putting the phone down

I brushed my wet hair and found manik looking at me thorugh the mirror.

"Manik" he hummed

"Why are you staring at me like that"

"Like what" he asked and I knew he knew what I meant

"Okay ill stop but promise me somthing" he said walking to me

"Promise you what" I asked
