Chapter 17

Manik's pov

I put our stuff down in the luggage area and walked up int he bus and sat beside nandini.

"Hey Manik, can you sit with me please" alia asked standing infront of us

"Alia it's 4:45 in the morning im not arguing with you"

"Just fucking sit with me, how is tha arguing" she snapped

"I am not interested in you or sitting with you now leave me alone" I said

"Oh fuck this" she yelled walking ahead

"She is definitely on some crack but jeez it's 4 in the morning" I mummbled and heard nandini giggling

I looked towards nandini to find her giggling making me smile, her giggles make me happy

"Why is my princess giggling" I asked and he put her hand in front of her mouth but she was still giggling.

"On crack heheh Manik it's too early to be on crack" she mummbled still giggling

"Is that so" I asked and she nodded

"Manik im so sleepy" cabir said

"Ya well go to sleep" I said turning to him since he sat on my right side with navya

"Fucker" he mummbled making me laugh

"What did you want me to do?" I asked

"Massage my back so I can sleep peacefully" he said

"Aww did you and navya have too much fun" I asked quietly and his eyes widened

"Shut up" he said turning away from me

"Everyone go to sleep, I don't wanna hear anyone bickering tis early int he morning" the teacher said

I got comfortable in the seat and saw Nandini trying to get comfortable too but she also had frowns on her face.

"Whats wrong" I asked

"Im sleepy" she mummbled

"Can I touch you" I asked and she nodded without even thinking

I wrapped my arm around her back and pulled her to me slightly so her back rested on my chest. I pulled her a little more so she was laying in my lap.

I put her fringes behind her ear and she grabbed onto my t shirt putting her t face in my chest

I got up slightly and slid down a little so now we were both comfortable.

"Manik" she called after a little bit

I looked down and she pulled her face out of my chest and smiled at me

"You smell nice" she said and I chuckled

"Thank you" she smiled at me

"Aren't you sleepy princess" I asked and she shook her head but then nodded

"I mean I am but I just wanna get in a bed" she said sadly

"Why are you sad" I asked and she shook her head

I leaned down and kissed her head lovingly. She closed her eyes and grabbed my t shirt tighter. I caressed her hair gently and she fell a sleep a few minutes later

I want to know why she is sad but I am gonna give her some time, I want us to be back in our dorms before we talk about this.

Very honestly I am so scarred to know what she may have gone through, especially seeing those scars. I don't know how I am gonna handle it but I have to be strong for her. I closed my eyes too caressing her hair.
