"Forget this idiot, im raj, his dad" his dad said making me chuckle a little
"Hi uncle" I siad bending down to touch his feet
"Silly girl, don't touch my feet. I am young yar, I am only a few years older than my two sons" he siad and I smiled
"You look more handsome and the youngest" I said and he smiled
"Yes yes I knew it, finally someone who agrees" he said like a child
"dad please" Cabir siad
"Right right, umm so this one is sulking and I can't seem to be helpful however I can tell he is in love with you so mind helping" he said
"He is okay, jsut a little space for him to think" I said and he put his hand on my head
"Cabir" he said and bhai nodded
He grabbed my hand and took me outside in the balcony
"Nandini both my son's have demons of their own, but Manik keeps those demons inside. His mom is umm well complicated and Manik took it the hardest because nyonika never treated him like her own especially since he turned 4 umm but she loved and still loves Cabir. Im not sure what happened and why but I can never seem to handle him when his mom is here. Nandini I see the love you have for him, the love that he has needed his whole life. I was able to give him love but the comfort he needed, I just couldn't becasue I had to work. With you I see that 3 year Manik who would run around with a smile on his face. He loses his crap when you aren't around, I saw that today. You were gone for 4 hours and he almost cried a few times, he is a wussy and a cry baby" he said making me chuckle
"He isn't a cry baby or a wussy" I said and he chuckled
"He is but my daughter I have to tell you something, he hates bananas" he siad and I laughed throwing my head back
"He does" I asked
"Yup, once I gave him a banana muffin and he there up in the car" I laughed hearing him
"Stay with him forever" he siad
"I will" he smiled and kissed my head
"Nandini" it was Manik and hearing him uncle laughed
"Go on, the man is in love with you" he said
I walked inside and sat beside him. I saw both uncle and bhai leaving, as the door shut behind them.
He put his face in my neck and wrapped his arms around my waist
"I love you Manik" I whispered
"You do" he asked and I smiled
"More than I have ever loved someone" I felt him smiling against my neck
"Did she say anything" I asked
"No" he said
I pulled back and grabbed his hand
"Come up here" I said sitting back on the bed resting my back on the headrest
He laid down beside me, his chin rested on my stomach as he looked at me
"Whats wrong" I asked caressing his cheeks
"I was coming down to find you when she entered and you know she didn't even acknowledge me, she just pretended like I wasn't there. Then you weren't even around, I asked alia but she said you took ashi to the park and I didn't even knew where you were" he said
"I forgot to take my phone and I didn't wanna make her wait, I'm sorry" I said and he shook his head
"It's okay, I understand it"
"Your mom, it doesn't matter. I know it hurts Manik but why ruin your mood on someone who doesn't care. See you should be downstairs in your atire, running around dancing, it's ashna's mehendi Manik. Her wedding is only happening once and would you be fine with missing out on so much. Ashi is probably trying to find you, don't you wanna play with her" I asked caressing his cheeks
"I do, but seeing her makes me so upset"
"Okay then stay with me okay, I wanna put haldi on you too" I teased
"On me" he asked
"Yes sir, on you of course baba, I don't have other boyfriends to put haldi on silly unless you want me to go play with someone else" I said and he frowned
"Absolutely not, you are mine"
"Then get up, go wash your face and put on a sexy handsome outfit for me" a smile tugged at his lips making me smile as well
"An outfit doesn't make me sexy, I was born sexy" he said making me throw my head back laughing
"Yes you were"I said laughing
He pouted at me putting his face in my stomach.
"Im hungry" he said
"Get up, ill make something for you" I said caressing his hair
"No I wanna stay like this" he said
"Manik it's 4 come on, you haven't eaten anything since morning" I said
"I know"
"Mani please"I whispered and he got up
"Pasta" he asked
"Of course, you want me to make you some garlic bread too" I asked and he nodded giggling
"Yes please" he said
I got up and put on my sandals
"Go freshen up and meet me downstairs in the kitchen"
He nodded getting up. I walked to stand in front of him, his arms wrapped around my waist.
He leaned down and kissed my lips lightly and then kissing my forehead
"I love you so much princess, you keep me sane" he whispered resting his head against mine
"I love you more manik" I said kissing his chest
"Go, ill make you pasta" he nodded leaving me
He kissed my head again and walked into the bathroom,
