Chapter 15

He stood right behind me, his arms moved up to touch my arms making me flinch a little

Seeing me flinch like that, he stepped back right away, his eyes weren't happy anymore and I was the reason behind it

"I I am sorry I just"

"It's okay, im sorry" he said with a smile but it wasn't a real smile, not the actual smile he has

He sat down and I put the brush down turning around to him. I walked closer to him and stood in front of him

"Im sorry Manik"

"Princess why are you sorry? You didn't do anything wrong" he said

"I didn't flinch because of you"

"You don't have to explain anything princess, I understand. You don't have to apologize either" he said

"I do"

"You don't nandini, I get it, I understand it. Time heals all and we just need time" he said

I sat down on the floor in front of his legs

"Nandini what are you doing" he asked getting up immediately

"I don't know why but I flinch because it reminds me of things that have happened, it has nothing to do with you I promise, it's not because of you I promise"

"Shhh I don't need justifications baby, I trust you" he said sitting in front of me on the ground

" Im sorry" I said with tears in my eyes

"Shh shhh stop crying" he said holding my face as he wiped the tears off of my face

"I am so sorry, I won't do it again" I mummbled

"Shhhh, I am not upset"

"But I I" I couldn't even form a sentence

"Shhhh relax nandini" he said pulling me in a hug

His hands worked like magic in my hair, it was helping me so much to calm down and relax.

"Im not like them, whatever it was in your past, im not them, I will never be them. i understand this is gonna take time for you to get used to me and im willing to wait baby"

"Im sorry" I mummbled again

"Shh it's okay" he whispered kissing the top of my head

I felt sleepy again from all the crying, I was exhausted just thinking about my past

"Come on lets take a nap" he said and I shook my head

"Let's go explore, you said you wanted to" I said pulling back

"I did but it's okay, I need you to be okay first"

He is seriously so sweet, I can't believe this, he is right, he is nothing like him or them, when he says he wants me he means it.

"Im okay I want to go out" I said

"Okay, come on lets eat first" he said

I got up and so did he, he made me sit on the bed and grabbed us food when there was a knock on the door.

"Hello kids" it was Bhai's voice

I watched as bhai, navya and Manik all came and sat on the bed, we al ate together while talking, well mainly Manik and bhai were talking and navya and I.

Even though I was talking and enjoying navy's and Bhai's company I wanted Manik, I wanted to talk to him alone, I don't know why but I just did.

"Shall we go out" bhai asked as we cleaned up the bed

"Let me grab my jacket" I said and he nodded while Manik gave me ' are you sure' look to which I nodded

"Lets go" navya said grabbing bhai's hand

We reached downstairs in the lobby and the prof explains how we are not heading to the beach house thing, instead we are gonna head back to college tom morning since people were not following rules out here which is fair enough

"We leave at 4:30 in the morning sharp" the teacher says and disperses everyone

"Shopping" navya said yanking Cabir's hand

"Ahhh fine woman but not for too long" he said to which she smiled

"Can I hold your hand" Manik asked and I nodded

He grabbed onto my hand firmly but lose at the same time, it wa very comforting to have his hand in mine.

"Princess are you sure you are up to exploring" he asked as we sat down in a taxi

I hmmed and he nodded, I put my head on his shoulder and he pecked the top of my head

He makes me happy and I don't care anymore, whatever will come our way ill fight it, I have him and he is all I really need and want.

I will tell him about my past but and if he doesn't want to stay with me after that then it's fine, at least I will know that I tried and if he says no to being with me then I will just go back into that shell I have always been in.

We went to shopping malls, street shopping, we explored a couple other places and the whole time Manik was holding my hand. He never left it even for a second.

We were on our way back, when Manik's phone rang, he grabbed it out of his pocket using his other hand.

"Hello, umm yes, idk dad maybe in a while, no not true at all, okay bye dad love you" he said

Once he was done he looked at me smiling

"It was my dad" he said and I smiled

"He wants to meet you, don't get worried or stress, I mean in the future sometime doesn't have to be now" he said and I rested my chin on his shoulder looking up at him

"You want me to meet him" I asked wondering why

"Of course I do"

"Why so" I asked and he smiled at me

"Because I see a future with you, I really do and my dad means a lot to me and so do you so I want you to meet him only if that's okay"

He always manages to win my heart, a heart that was covered with ice and a huge ass rock was starting to melt under his presence, that's the affect he has on me and I am not complaining one bit about it.

"Manik"

He hummed looking at me

"Nothing" I said seeing the intensity of emotions in his eyes

Im not even sure if he knows the emotions he is displaying right now but they are intense

He caressed my hand that was in his and placed a tiny kiss on my head.
