Chapter 36

I walked in nandini and I's dorm to see her cleaning up a little.

"What are you up to silly" I asked

"Umm navya and I moved my stuff here so I was cleaning up a bit" she said

"Baby do you wanna change into something else for the movies" I asked

"Umm I am gonna put on black jeans and a lose t shirt" she said

"Okay, ill put on jeans too" I siad and she nodded

We both changed and she sat on the bed putting on her sandals, I smiled at how adorable she looks.

"Hey princess, I have something for you" I siad and she looked confused

I grabbed a little bracelet I had gotten for her a while back form the closet and sat beside her

"Give me your hand" she did and I put on the bracelet on her wrist

"Manik" she gasped

"Shh before you say anything, I really liked it a lot, it's delicate yet elegant just like you" I said and she smiled

"It looks expensive" she said and I chuckled

"It's nothing compared to your beauty" I whispered and she blushed

Her cheeks tinted red, she looked down being shy. I titled her chin up and pecked her nose.

"Don't ever take it off" I said and she giggled

"Not even in my death bed" she said and I put my hand on her lips

"Don't ever, I mean it. Do not ever think or take this rubbish about leaving me. If you aren't in this world then neither am I"

"Im sorry" she whispered

"Don't be sorry, just please don't talk about your death"

"I won't" she said and I nodded

I got up and she grabbed my arm

"Don't be upset" she siad

"Im not darling, I just don't like having the thought of losing you"

She smiled and kissed my arm.

"You aren't getting rid of me mr Malhotra"

"I never want to ms Murthy" I said and she smiled

"If you guys are done romancing then lets go" we heard Cabir and nandini gigled

She grabbed onto my hand and we walked downstairs.

"Im driving" Cabir said and I didn't care

"Yayyy ill sit in the front" navya said making me chuckle

mukti got in and then nandini followed by me. Druv and alia sat In the very back seats.

"Nandini are you sure you aren't gay" mukti asked

"Nope, not even a little bit" she replied making me smile

"Ughhh okay fine but if this man upsets you then come to me" she said making nandini giggle as she nodded

Mukti got busy on her phone and nandini kept her head on my shoulder grabbing onto my arm.

"What's cooking princess" I asked and she giggled

Her giggles make me so happy.

"Why are you treating her like she a fucking 2 year old" alia said

"Why do you have a problem" I asked

"Because it's so god damn irritating"

"Then close your ears alia" I said and nandini grabbed onto my arm tighter shaking her head

"Don't say anything that you'll regret" she mumbled

"Alia, I have not said a single thing to you so please don't instigate me" I said

"Enough" Cabir said and I looked up to find him looking at me through the rear mirror

'don't' he mouthed and I growled a little being frustrated

"Why are you frustrated" nandini whispered

"I just am"

"It's okay" she said caressing my chest slightly

'So I have picked a carry movie" Cabir said

"Dude not again" I said

"What" he wined

"Cabir dar no" mukti said

"Why" navya asked

"This idiot hates horror movie and then at night he will not let me sleep" I said

"But navya is here now so you don't gotta worry" mukti said and navya chuckled

"Seriously" she asked looking at Cabir who was pouting like a child and muttering something under his breath

We got to the mall that has a movie theater. We were walking up to the shops which were on the third floor.

As soon as we got on the third floor, Nandini's hand slipped from mine making me look at her to find her jaw dropped literally.

I followed her gaze to find her looking in a toy store. She was particularly looking at this stuffed bear.

"Lets go in there" I said and she nodded her head vigorously yanking my arm to the store

"Oh my cheese, holly nuggets" she muttered and I chuckled seeing her response

This girl left my hand and was running like a mad women touching everything.

"Is she okay" Cabir asked and I looked back to see everyone standing there looking astonished

"Ya she is just happy" I whispered with my eyes still on her

"Never in a million years would I have guessed that you would fall in love with such a simple girl" mukti said

"You know it was meant to happen, Manik has always loved simple cause lack there of in his life" Cabir said laughing a little making mecukle

"It's not even the fact that she is simple, it's her heart. Despite going through so much, there was never a time she used it as an excuse to be rude, or any of that. She finds joy in parks, ice cream, putting her cold feet on mine to startle me every night, she doesn't need money to be happy" I said and felt a hand on my back

I knew it was Cabir, he patted my back like I was a child.

"All grown up my janeman" I chuckled hearing this

Cabir has always been my brother from another mother, he makes me happy just like nandini. He understands me even when I lie, nandini and cabir are my soulmates.
