Unhappy Endings: Part Two; Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz

Summary: After learning that Cobra Kai is planning something at the arcade, you and Sam decide to finally put an end to it. Only thing is, will that also put an end to your relationship with Eli.- As you can tell from the title... it might be that way, but I guess we'll see.

Warning: Slight swearing, angst, violence

As soon as Sam and I walked into the arcade we made our way over to Chris. He stood by the counter almost as if he was waiting for us.

"Sam, they're in the old laser ta– Y/N? What are you doing here?", Chris asked looking confused.

"I'll explain later", I replied slightly frustrated, "Where are they?"

Chris looked at Sam and then back at me before telling us that they were in the old laser tag room. As we made our way over, the rest of the Miyagi-Dos came in.

"We got here as fast as we cou– Y/N? Why are you here?", Demetri started. I groaned in frustration.

"Really? We're about to have a freaking karate battle. Can you save your questions for later?", I asked. They all looked at me confused. "Look, I'll explain everything later. I want this to be over just as much as you do."

My response seemed to suffice as they all looked over to Sam. "Chris said they're in there", she started while pointing over to where the laser tag room was. "Remember to be smart."

Everyone looked at each other and nodded. No one knew how this was going to end.

Everything happened so fast. As soon as we went into the room, there were Cobra Kai's everywhere. Immediately punches and kicks were thrown left and right. I could see Hawk out of the corner of my eyes, but I was too focused on the guy who was currently trying to kick me in my side. Nice to know chivalry isn't dead.

After fighting this dude for what felt like forever, I finally gave up and kicked him in the stomach, instantly knocking the air out of him. As soon as he was down, another guy came up from behind me. Not wasting any time, I reached behind and grabbed the back of his neck with both my hands. I flipped him over to where he landed on his back. He started gasping for air. "Sorry", I said before punching him square in the chest. Like I said, I don't have time for this. Seemingly defeating my only opponents, my eyes began to look around. I needed to find Hawk.

Looking around I noticed Sam sitting against a wall. I began to make my way over to her to make sure she was okay. As I approached her I heard a voice yell out, "I know you're in here LaRusso."

Tory

I didn't even notice her come in. I looked toward where Tory was making her way across the room. Clearly looking for Sam, she walked around. I looked over at Sam. Seeing her in a daze with her fists clenched and shaking, I knew she was on the verge of a panic attack. I reached forward and grabbed and unclenched her hands and looked her in the eyes.

"Breathe Sam, breathe", I started. She looked at me in shock, not noticing that I was there. "Focus on your breathing Sam. In. Out. Just like that". She closed her eyes and kept focusing on her breathing, her breathing beginning to even out.

"Are you o–"

"No! No! Eli stop!", my head whipped around as I heard Demetri yell. I dropped Sam's hands as I looked over at him. My body instantly froze. There, right in front of me, was Hawk holding Demetri's arm behind him as he lay there on his stomach, his face pushed in the ground. Tears began to escape his eyes as Hawk stood over him.

"Eli, please", Demetri begged, "I'll stop, I'll stop". For a moment I saw Hawk hesitate. Please don't do it, I thought, this isn't you.

"What are you waiting for?", Tory asked, "Finish him!"

WIth the same guilty expression on his face, it happened so fast. Hawk leaned forward and with a snap broke Demetri's arm. Still frozen, I looked at Demetri not realizing the tears that were streaming down my face.

"Nice"

"Good job"

"Pussy"

I heard all Cobra Kai's comments. "Let's go", Tory said as she and the rest of them began to leave. As Hawk stood up he looked over and our eyes connected, he froze. Tears started to form in his eyes as mine continued to fall. Hawk stood up while Demetri lay there, still cradling his now broken arm. I wanted so badly to go to Demetri, but my body wouldn't let me. Almost as if my mind finally took control of my body I stood up. Hawk opened his mouth as if he was going to say something, anything.

"Hawk!", yelled Tory as she stood in the doorway, "What are you doing? Let's go!"

As he looked toward the door, he looked back at me with regret in his eyes. Just when I thought he was going to make his way over to me, he turned and made his way out the door, taking my broken heart with him.
