Unhappy Endings?: Part Four; Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz

Summary: You and Sam decide to help Miguel get the Eagle Fangs and Miyagi-Do's together, but that doesn't go according  to plan.

A Few Months Later

Sitting at the kitchen table in Sam's house, everyone had finally come to somewhat of an agreement. As everyone was sitting around talking about the plan to get Sensei Lawrence and LaRusso together, you heard a cat meow. Everyone stopped and looked around confused.

"Aww", Bert said, "Your cat wants to come in".

Looking at Sam confused, Miguel spoke up, "I didn't know you had a cat". Feeling the hairs on my arm stand up, I replied, "She doesn't".

As soon as I said that, Bert came flying through the window. Immediately I bent down to check on him.

"Oh my gosh Bert", I exclaimed in a worried tone, "Are you okay?"

He looked back at me, with an "are you serious?" look, "There wasn't a cat", he stated.

Suddenly, the back door opened and in walked Hawk, along some other Cobra Kai's. He looked smug as he glanced around the kitchen, ready to fight. As soon as our eyes met, his expression softened. He opened his mouth as if to say something when the front door opened. We all turned around to see who it was only to find Tory.

I felt Sam tense beside me and my blood began to boil. Not only had she caused Sam pain, but she was the one who pushed for Hawk to break Demetri's arm. Upon laying eyes on me, she immediately smirked. She knew what she had done. She knew she had pushed Hawk to do things he wanted to. She knew how much we meant to each other. My hands automatically clenched at my sides upon catching her gaze.

She then turned to face Sam, "Heard you were throwing a party", she said smugly, "Hope you don't mind if we crash".

Instantly all of the Cobra Kai's started running towards us. We stood our ground, getting into our fighting stances. Everyone scattered around everywhere. Glass breaking and yelling could be heard all throughout the house.

A guy from Cobra Kai, who I did not recognize, came up to me. As soon as he was in front of me, he swung his fist towards the side of my face. On instinct, I reached my left hand up, grabbing his arm. As I held his arm, I used my other hand to land a punch to his face. Catching him off guard, he fell back. Using that as my chance to knock him down, I brought my right leg up, kicking him in the stomach with all the strength I had.

As soon as he fell, another guy came up from behind me. Too focused on looking at the guy I had just knocked down, I didn't see him. Just as he was about to kick me in the back, someone came up and grabbed his leg. Looking behind me in shock, I saw Hawk holding his leg. With the guy's leg in his hand, Hawk brought his head forward and head butted him. As he reached up to hold his head, Hawk took that as an opportunity to do a spin kick. He spun around on his left leg, bringing his right leg up. Within a second his food collided with the guy's face, knocking him out cold.

Still in shock I just stared at the guy on the ground, not moving. "Hey", I heard, "are you okay?"

Looking up I noticed Hawk was standing right in front of me, his eyes full of concern. I just stared at him, not knowing what to say.

"Yeah", I said, "thank you". Instantly Hawk reached forward and wrapped his arms around me, embracing me in a hug. I felt tears hit my shoulder as he continued to hold me. Without realizing it, my arms wrapped themselves around his waist and my own tears began to fall.

God I missed him

"I'm sorry", he said as he let out a quiet sob. Hearing him cry, I hugged him tighter. Pulling away, I looked at him, my arms still around his waist.

"I forgive you", I said sincerely. He smiled before reaching forward to hug me again. Forgetting that there was a whole ass fight going on, we both looked around. Suddenly we heard a yell and upon turning our heads, we saw Demetri leaning on the glass coffee table, two Cobra Kai's held him down, his right arm held in the air.

"Hawk", they yelled over to him, clearly not seeing me due to the wall, "Come get some of this", they finished. After a moment Hawk ran forward and I feared the worst. I ran to look through the entryway. Please Eli, I thought, Don't do it.

As soon as Hawk reached the table he jumped up, kicking both the Cobra Kai's in the face. I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding in as my heart began to beat loudly. After he stood up fully, Hawk looked over at Demetri. I saw their mouths moving, but couldn't figure out what they were saying. Before I knew it both Hawk and Demetri started to fight the two Cobra Kai's, together. Had it not been such a brutal encounter I probably would've smiled.

Before I could make my way over to them, Miguel came up to me. "Have you seen Sam?", he asked both out of breath and concerned.

"No", I replied as I raised my eyebrows in worry. We both looked around trying to catch a glimpse of the brunette.

"She's not in here", said Miguel, sounding defeated. Dread overcame my body as I looked around.

"Neither is Tory", I replied as fear took over. Miguel looked at me with wide eyes.

"C'mon", I started already walking towards the back door, "I think I know where they are".

Making our way through the backyard, we heard yelling. As Hawk and Demetri joined us, we made our way into the small dojo. We walked in just in time to see Tory standing in front of Sam.

"Tory", Miguel started in a defeated tone, "it's over". Stopping what she was doing she looked over at us.

"This is not over", she said boldly. Looking back at Miguel she added, "This will never be over". Seemingly unaffected, we all stared at her.

"And you", she started as she looked at Hawk. As if it was muscle memory, my hand reached over to grab his. Tory looked down at our eyes before returning her hard gaze to Hawk. "You better watch your back", she finished.

Before I could say anything, Demetri beat me to it, "He won't have to", he said confidently, "he's got his friends watching it for him". Turning to look at Demetri, I gave him a proud smile. With a scoff, Tory walked out leaving us standing there, confused and scared.

After cleaning up to the best of our abilities and helping Sam explain to her parents what happened, we all made our way home. Not wanting me to "walk alone" so he says, Hawk followed me home. I knew he wanted to talk and I did too.

Making our way up the porch steps, we stopped and sat down at the top step. After a moment of silence, we both spoke up. "I'm sorry", we said at the same time. I giggled while he let out a nervous chuckle. With that, he began to explain everything. Why he did what he did Why he felt he couldn't stop. All of it. After hearing what he had to say, it all made sense.

"Look", I started while reaching over and grabbing both of his hands, "I get that you wanted to fit it. I get that you want to be confident. But you can do all of that with your real friends", I finished while looking at him. Looking back at me he nodded.

"I'm sorry", he said for the thousandth time. He laid his head on my shoulder, me resting mine on top of his.

"I forgive you, but just know, it's not going to be as easy for everyone else", I said. He lifted his head up to look at me. "But I will be right by your side through it all", I added.

He sent me a grateful smile and after a moment of silence, he leaned forward until our lips touched. I let out a sigh of content and he smiled.

"I love you", he said after breaking the kiss. I smiled bashfully. "I love you too, Eli", I replied.

As he smiled at me, I knew everything was going to be okay as long as we were together. And with that, my heart was full.
