Waking up this morning was brutal. I couldn't breathe, my head was pounding, and on top of that it felt like my throat was in fire.

I groaned as I rolled over, turning my alarm off. Walking into the bathroom I couldn't help but notice my bloodshot eyes and the dark bags that accompanied them. There was no denying that I was sick and this couldn't have come at a worse time.

Between training getting more intense and demanding due to the upcoming All Valley and the work load from school becoming all to overwhelming, I was less than impressed.

My phone went off indicating I had a text causing me to pause my self-loathing. Looking at my phone a smile overtook my once gloomy features as I saw Robby's name appear.

Robby❤️

good morning beautiful

what time are you going to be ready?

With a smile still on my face, I texted back.

I'll be ready in about 45 minutes, I replied. He sent me a thumbs up in response. After brushing my teeth, I took a shower. The hot steam helped clear my stuffy nose. Despite me not wanting to, I knew I had to get out or else I'd stay in there forever.

After getting out of the shower, I got dressed in athletic shorts and a t-shirt. There was no way I was dressing up today. There was a knock at the door as I was putting on concealer. Just because I was sick doesn't mean I have to look completely dead. Grabbing my backpack and my phone, I opened the front door to a smiling Robby. That smile was soon replaced with a frown.

"You're sick", he obviously stated. I was going to try and pretend that I was fine but I knew it would be no use. Robby knew me like the back of his hand.

"Yeah, I'm okay though", I replied with a shrug. Really, though, I was not okay. It felt like I was about to pass out just standing in the doorway. On top of that it sounded like I just finished smoking two packs of cigarettes. My throat was burning.

Without a second thought, Robby reached out and placed his hand on my head. "You're burning up, Y/N/N", he once again obviously stated with a concerned frown. I shrugged again, trying to appear nonchalant.

"I'm fine, promise", I responded though he didn't seem convinced, "we need to go before we're late."

"Nuh-uh", he said as he put his hands on my shoulders, guiding me back inside, "you're not going to school."

"Robby, I can't miss school today", I stated as he brought me to the couch, forcing me to sit down, "besides, we have training today."

"You're not going to training today either", he said while walking out of the room. He came back in with my favorite blanket, draping it over my shoulders.

"Robby", I said sternly. I stood up to look at him, the blanket falling from my shoulders. Between the stress of school and training on top of being sick, I was on the verge of tears. "I can't miss school and I can't miss training. I have a presentation coming up and the All Valley is two weeks away."

Sighing, Robby looked conflicted. "Look Y/N/N, you're sick, it happens", he started while bringing me into a hug, my head resting on his shoulder. Tears started to fall down my face. "If you keep pushing yourself too much, you're not going to get any better."

He put his hands on my shoulders, pushing me away until we were face to face. "I'll help you with your presentation for whatever the hell class you have", he continued with a small smile.
