Summary: Ever since Eli became Hawk, you couldn't stand him. He actually became one of your biggest enemies, especially considering you're in Miyagi Do and he's in Cobra Kai.

I couldn't stand Eli Moskowitz or as most people call him, Hawk. He's the most egotistical, self-centered, and overall vile person I had ever met. Just looking at him made me want to punch the smug look off his face. Of course I couldn't do that because not only does it go against my training, but he means that he won. That he got to me.
I could not let that happen. Ever.
Don't get me wrong. I haven't always hated Hawk. In fact, I used to actually like him. Thinking about that makes me want to cringe, but it's true. I liked him when he was Eli. When he was the shy, sweet boy who used to help me with chemistry. When I would hangout with him and Demetri after school and we'd watch Doctor Who or play Dungeon Lord, me mostly watching in that case. He was my best friend, but now I wouldn't even consider him an acquaintance. I barely know him anymore.
Now it's just me and Demetri, along with the rest of the Miyagi Dos. They became my best friends. We look out for each other and stand up when something's not right, not like Cobra Kai. Sure they help each other out in a fight, but does it really count when they instigated it?
Just thinking about Cobra Kai and Hawk made my blood boil, but with Hawk, my heart broke too.
The bell rang signaling the end of fourth period meaning it was time for lunch. I couldn't get out of that class fast enough. I have fourth period with Hawk and just sitting in the same room as him made me want to vomit.
As I made my way towards the door he cut in front of me, obviously doing so just to piss me off, as per usual. With his back towards me he slightly turned his head, sending me a smug smile. I just rolled my eyes in return, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of anything more. I then walked past him, intentionally bumping my shoulder with his. I heard him scoff as I walked away, causing a triumphant smile to make its way onto my face.
After putting my books away and grabbing my lunch from my locker, I walked towards the cafeteria. Spotting Demetri, I made my way over to the cafeteria. The shock on my face was evident as I noticed Yasmine sitting at the table, a bored expression on her face. Confusion replaced my features as I saw a giant diorama taking up the table.
"Hey Y/N!", Moon said as she sent me an excited wave. I sent her a bright smile.
"Hey Moon, how are you?", I asked. She replied with a just as excited "Good!" before turning back to Despite me not being fond of Yasmine, I couldn't not like Moon. She was the sweetest person ever. At the sound of my voice, Demetri turned to face me with a wide smile on his face.
"Hey Y/N, check it out!", he said while gesturing towards the diorama, "press the dinosaur egg", he added while looking at Yasmine. Yasmine looked unimpressed before she reached over and pressed the egg. Soon after, the volcano erupted, causing smoke to spew out.
"Wow Demetri", I said as Yasmine and Moon gasped, obviously impressed. I looked at Demetri, noticing the proud smile on his face. I patted him on the back, "great job", I added.
"Looks like my parents won't have to pay for an 'A' this time", Yasmine said as she still stare at the project.
"You'll never have to pay for another 'A' again in your life", replied Demetri. While Yasmine and Moon continued to look at the diorama, I bent down to take a closer look. As soon as I reached forward to look at one of the pieces, a soccer ball came crashing into it causing me and the others to gasp.
I immediately covered my face and stepped back as pieces flew everywhere. Pulling my hands away, I saw pieces of the project all over the table and floor, completely destroyed. I looked over at Demetri, a devastated look on his face. Yasmine and Moon were silent as they stared at where the project once laid, shocked expressions on their faces.
