"I received your flowers." Akshara teased, rearranging the newest batch of sunflowers on her nightstand.

Abhimanyu might have been in Japan but his flowers and notes were a constant hourly reminder of his presence, like clockwork.

"Are they of any use in helping to come to a decision?" He asked, settling down in his business class seat.

"Maybe..."

"We'll that's good to know. So what have you decided? Are you going to marry me or move in with me?"

"Don't you have a flight to catch?" Akshara retorted, trying to change the subject once again.

"In it right now, waiting for the rest of plane to finish boarding. Now don't change the subject, Akshara. I told you before I left you had three days to make up your mind. And today is day three." He pressed his lips together as he took a sip of his champagne.

She was very well aware that today was day three —the last day to make a decision. But she still wasn't ready. How did she tell him she wasn't ready to move in with him? Or marry him?

How did she tell him she liked being independent, liked living in her own space. How did she tell him she needed to get to know him better? That in order do her to move in with him, she needed to be certain they had a future together.

"Well I still have time till you get here to decide." She bit her lower lip, nervously. earning a begrudging scoff from Abhimanyu.

"12 hours Akshara. Although I can't see how 12 hours will make a difference because at the end of it all, you are going to end up in my house and in my bed. But sure, if the pretense of time makes you happy, take it." Abhimanyu replied, casually, leaning back in his business class seat and glancing out the window onto the tarmac.

Akshara's mouth was left agape and her cheeks flushed at Abhimanyu's reply. How could Abhimanyu be so domineering and charming at the same time? He knew how to say all the right words to make her blush but yet frustrate her at the exact same time?

"I'll see you when you get here." Akshara replied, not wanting to push the topic of moving in further.

"12 hours." He affirmed.

"Have a safe flight, Abhimanyu. I'll see you when you get here." Akshara replied, her heart aching to see him, to hug him but her mind being nervous about having to give him an answer regarding whether she was willing to move in with him or not.

"Wait for me, baby." He replied softly, making butterflies find a home in her stomach.

"I will." She reaffirmed, before ending the phone call and falling onto her back on the mattress.

Akshara folded her hands together and stared at the ceiling. 12 hours. Her countdown had begun.

She was hesitant to move in with Abhimanyu but she  was also afraid of disappointing him. It was evident that Abhimanyu was not used to hearing the word 'no'.

He had a way of achieving his desired goals in life —but she wasn't a goal, she was a real person with real feelings. But she also was starting to grow fond of Abhimanyu.

He was a nice man, a bit overbearing and overwhelming at times, yes, but he did or because he cared. And she definitely wanted to be with him, see where this journey takes her.

So maybe moving in with him might not be such a terrible idea? But she also barely knew the man —the real him. So maybe moving in with him might not be the brightest idea.

Akshara contemplated her decision to move in with Abhimanyu or not for a few more hours before she found her lashes growing heavy and her eyes beginning to close. She let darkness finally take over her as she fell asleep, still not having concrete answer to Abhimanyu's statement.
