You wiggled your sun-shaped ring on your finger as you sifted through a box in your closet. "Where is that old thing...?" You mumbled to yourself, pushing aside old clothes and nick-nacks. At last, you landed on a stringed happy-birthday banner. You figured Sun and Moon could hang it up on their wall and if they were particularly worried they could turn it around so the words weren't visible. You're not sure how, or why, it had been carried with you when you moved out of your parents house, but you sure weren't gonna use it.

Folding the banner up, you closed the hall-closet's door, and padded off to securely place it into your bag. You pulled your wallet out of your back pocket, and counted your cash. You were up particularly early this morning, in order to make it to the corner store before work. You'd have to hurry, but you could do it. Zipping up your bag, and grabbing your keys, you jumped into your car and took off.

You were suspiciously fast at picking out a few small, decorative pillows for the two of them. They had to be a little small, otherwise you wouldn't be able to hide them from Sun. One of the pillows was those motivational quote pillows with all the moon phases on them, you figured Moon would find it interesting. Another one was a plush in the shape of a cloud, with a little smiling face on it. You imagined Sun jumping up and down at how cute it was.

The poor morning-shift worker was half asleep as they rung up your items, not questioning you on such a strange selection of pillows at 5:30 AM.

It wasn't until you slid into a parking spot that you really had to think about how you were going to hide these from Sun. He wasn't exactly blind, and would be curious about a plastic bag in your hand.

You pulled your backpack into your lap, and looked within. Frowning, the only way you could fit the two pillows into your bag was risking your shirt. Just because the kids were cleanly yesterday, doesn't mean they would be today. With a sigh, you concluded you'd just have to deal. You threw the spare shirt into your passenger seat, replacing it with the two pillows, careful not to crush the paper banner. Once you had all of that figured out, you zipped up your backpack and slipped out of the car.

You decided to save your poor feet by taking the slide this time, the entire plex was so huge the extra mile to get around and down the staircase seemed like a trek that would kill you. You clung your bag to your chest, the corners of your lips pulling into a grin a you splashed into a sea of balls. Sun was swaying back and forth on his toes by the door, waiting for you to come back. You slowly stepped through the ballpit, trying to make your way to the bridge to find him. But Sun had already caught you the second he heard you land. He plucked you out of the ball pit and started to skip towards the security desk. "Good good good morning, friend!!" He grinned at you, and you returned it, "Hiya Sun. Did you have a good night?"

"Me and Moony both! Yes yes yes! We talked a lot all night long, we were waiting so long for you to get back!! What about you!?" He set you down and you unsuspiciously placed your bag on the desk like you always did. "I had trouble going to sleep, but other than that it was alright." You stuffed your hands on your pockets, rocking on your toes.

Sun mirrored the action. "That's no good, Sunshine!!" You faltered at the nickname, but he continued, "Maybe you should nap during naptime too! Moony is really really really good at helping everyone go to sleep!!"

"I don't think I'm allowed to sleep on company time." You put your hand on your hip. Sun's rays paused in their sway as he frowned, "But it's naptime! It's for naps, silly!" Giving him a meek smile, you shook your head. "I dunno..." You weren't ready to lose your job on your second day.

He stomped childishly, the bells on his little jester shoes jingling harshly, "Well then just stay after hours! Moony seems very excited to-" He reached up and knocked himself in the back of the head, but it almost didn't seem like he had planned to do it. You jerked a little, baffled.
