Chapter 6

"His name is adal"
This last sentence was one i never ever imagined ever hearing in my whole existence!
"Who?!" I said again trying to make sure I heard right...
"Uhmm Adal ahmad" hala says again.
Ohh just great I don't even know the other guy's surname ...

*hey he isn't the only Adal in the world! So why are you thinking about him?!and I thought you said you hated talking about him* that voice says.
*ohh true! I must be over thinking things! And i still don't like talking anout him* I answer the voice back...

"Oh okay"i simply answer hala...

"Sooo how was the shopping with sab! Ohh I can't believe I missed it"hala says pouting and taking the seat that was earlier occupied by my mum....as my mum,dad and saif leave us alone ....

"Ohhh i cant explain hala! It was soo fun! Every thing was perfect! I can't wait to show you her dress"i answer finally talking about something I'm interested in...

"Tell me about it please "she says feeling all too excited ....and that way we sat and kept on talking for hours...until it was time to pray zuhr then we parted ways and i went up to my room to pray....

Adal's POV
Standing infront of my parents mansion contemplating whether to go in or just go back....
I dont know how my mum is feeling ,i tried taking to her over the phone but they just won't let me,i really have to see her....
So I decided to just go in....

"What do you want?!"came my dad's voice from the kitchen and i go in to meet him....

"Uhmm....dad! I'm really sorry about last night and i came to apologise!"i tell him standing in front of him....

"Its okay,you can go! Please i don't want you to cause her more pain! The doctor strictly told us to make sure she is always happy so please I can't risk anything "he says smiling ,a smile that did not reach his eyes and patted me on my shoulder making his way out of the kitchen....

"Dad please can i just see her!i promise you I won't hurt her"i say begging him...

"But son..."he starts and i cut him off...
"Please dad just once"i finish...
"Okay"he says turning and going up to my mums room...
"Thanks"i say following him....

We reach her room and he put his hand to open the door and then dropped it back turning towards me"son!you promised remember?!please don't hurt her" he said.

"I wont!yeah I promise ,,she is my mother and i love her too"i said assuring him.... He smiled and nodded opening the door,we both entered ...

On hearing the door closing my mum turned her head towards us..."Adal!come here my son"she says in a weak and tired voice...
"Ammi!" I start walking towards her,sitting on the bed and taking her hands in mine....
"Oh ammi I'm sorry"i tell her with watery eyes....

"Common its okay! There is nothing to be sorry about! We are actually at fault here...we wanted you to marry someone you ddnt know! But trust me my dear we wanted the best for you"she says smiling at me with teary eyes...

"Thank you ammi! I'm really sorry again "i tell her wiping her tears....

She opened her mouth to say something when her phone rang"sorry dear,let me pick this please "she says smiling ....
"Its okay!carry on,,, I'll just be back"i said as my own phone started ringing ..

"Okay"she says and i stood up to excuse myself ...

I went downstairs ,brought out my phone ,checking the caller ID...

"Aysha"

Oh my God what do i do?!uhmm incase you are wondering who aysha is ,she is kind of the person i want to be with..not some arranged girl...she is my girlfriend ....
I quickly made my way to the living room and locked the door behind me! As my phone started ringing again....
"Uhhm hello"i say clearing my throat ..
