Chapter 17

It's been four days since I started working as an intern,well let's say everything has been going good Alhamdulillah except for the fact i have to watch that blondie who i now know her name is christy openly flirt and try to get my husbands attention and all i can do is put my head down and pretend nothing happened and everything is okay.

I was on my way walking with stacks of files in my hands,it was too much that it almost blocked my vision ,and that's why i ddnt see the person that just decided to bump into me arrive! But the person actually saw me so why ddnt he or she move?

"Don't you have eyes?" The female voice yelled at me as i bent to pick up the files .seriously? Can't i see? I should be asking you the same miss,but Afreen being Afreen I decided to apologise .

"Uhm I'm sorry ,the files were blocking my view "i said standing up to look at her and guess what? My worst nightmare .

Probably because she realised it was me that she ran into,she decided to smirk"oh it's you" she said.

"Yes it's me" I answered her blankly.

I turned to leave but she held me firmly by my arm!making the files to fall again and we were the only two on the corridor ,so basically I don't have anyone to come to my rescue!sorry Afreen you are a dead meat.

"Tsk tsk tsk not so fast bitch" she said.

Bitch? BITCH?! She just freaking called me one.

"Ouch! Let go! You're hurting me" i hissed in pain.

"Oops,is our pathetic little girl also fragile "she said leaving my hands and i turn to face her.

"Please let me go,i really don't have time for all these"i said

"Oh but i do. and if what you felt some seconds ago was pain,then I'll make sure you suffer more than that if you don't leave my Adal alone" she said glaring at me.

Whoa woman.not your Adal,you mean mine!

"Uhm you mean my husband Adal? Well miss whatever you call yourself ,the one you just called yours is mine! You hear me? Mine legally and islamically,so I should be telling you to stay away from him but I won't because mark my words he will come back to me" i said ignoring the little noise telling me he wouldn't and I should stop fooling myself .

She rose her hands as if to slap me but stopped and looked behind me then suddenly caught took my hand and placed in on her neck,all these was too fast for me to comprehend,so i used my other hand to try and remove the hand she placed on her neck,

What is she doing? Why are her eyes red? And why is she freaking tearing up? The next thing she did took my off guard!

"Please Afreen don't kill me I can't live without Adal neither can i die and leave him alone ,please I love him more than life itself "she said coughing ,now i am confused but i kept struggling to remove my hand from her neck!

"Why will i?" I said, I mean i want her to leave my husband but I wouldn't stoop so low to kill her.

"Please don't "she said crying .why is she doing this?

"AFREEN!!" I heard him shout angrily from behind me.

Turning around i saw his hazel eyes were now replaced with an angry dark shade!

"Get your pathetic hands off her" he said coming forward and taking my hands off her before raising his hands and slapping me!

He just slapped me and too for something i didn't do?

"I can't believe you can stoop so low, despite telling you I can never be yours,you still went to an extent of threatening her and then strangling her?" He said angrily .
