Afreen had been noticing a slight change in Adal ever since they left the hospital the other night, in fact he didn't want to Leave but his dad threatened him and after minutes of arguments and security guards appointed they finally left.

She knew something was up, yes he loves his mother and doesn't want to leave her unprotected after what had just happened but there was something off and also from the way he didn't want her to leave his side even for a second, something didn't seem right, but not to worry she'll definitely find out she thought to herself.

''Afreen, we're going to work together today''he said as he was dressing up trying to tie his neck tie which was fruitless, so she had to come and help him, but being almost twice her size she couldn't reach him so she had a permanent stool that was kept in the room for situations like this, which he grabbed for her and she stepped on it tying his tie for him.

''I'm not going anywhere, I'm going to the hospital to stay with ammi today''she said not wanting to argue with him any further, the way he asked her in fact he didn't ask her to go with him he kind of like commanded her and she wasn't going to listen to that especially after the way he's been acting.

''I'm not asking you, I'm telling you that you're coming with me''he said with finality in his voice.

She rolled her eyes and got off the stool turning away''i said I'm not going with you anywhere besides that's not how to talk to me''

He held her by her arm a little harder than he'd noticed which made her flinch''look woman I don't have time for this, i said you're coming with me and you're coming with me, don't waste my time with this nonsense and get dressed, we're already late''he said sternly which scared her, she'd never seen him that way, even before he confessed his feelings for her, but what's wrong with him? Why is he talking to her that way?

With tears in her eyes she nodded her head trying to wipe her tears and that was when he realised what he'd just done and his eyes softened but it was too late, releasing her she didn't give him a chance to talk she ran outside their room and went to her own room then locked the door so he wouldn't come in.

Adal couldn't believe he could be so stupid to talk to her that way, couldn't he have seen how hurt she was? He immediately ran after her, he tried opening her door but she'd locked it from inside  and he kept on banging but she didn't open it so he went back to his room to finish dressing up hoping she'd come out by the time he's ready.

He wasn't thinking straight, all he thought of was the message and her safety, he couldn't stand any harm coming her way that's why he spoke even without thinking.

Minutes later he went downstairs and sat on the sofa with his head in his palm as he waited for her to come, but to no avail.

He was about giving up when he heard her soft footsteps behind him, he stood up to go to her to try explaining things to her but she ignored him and headed for the door instead.

He sighed, he wasn't actually expecting her to forgive him so easily even after behaving so badly with her, so he just silently followed behind her.

When got got outside she was already gone and he knew that she was not only angry at him for what he did this morning but also something else and that's why she decided to take her car and drive herself.

He sighed and got into his own car and drove off after her, she wouldn't have gotten so far, if he isn't with her he can watch after her from his own car.

Adal was happy that throughout the ride to work he didn't loose her and she was safe, when they got to the office he was even happier that she has no choice but to talk to him since it's her first day working as a real worker.
