Chapter 21

ONE YEAR LATER.........

Adal's POV

"Heyy baby? How are you? You look amazing today you know..... You know we make the best couple ,double A, adeel and afreen" i said smiling at her, Afreen ,my Afreen,she was smiling back at me. She looked totally beautiful in a purple hijab and white long dress.

"Man! I can't believe you Adal! Are you still talking to a damn picture? It's been one year for God sake!" Ameer said as he entered my office looking at me.

"What can i do ameer? I can't bring myself to stop thinking about her, she is in my every thought and breath,she is everywhere ,It's been a year since she left me.....i miss her so much, i miss her smile, her laughter just everything "i said still my eyes focused on the picture in front of me. i got the picture from her room and since then for the pass one year it has become a daily thing for me,to sit and talk to her, tell her how my day has been.

"Anyways what brings you here"i said finally taking my eyes off the picture and landing them on a now seated Ameer.

"Oh yeah, i came to inform you that you have a business meeting to attend to in two days time in Singapore" he said and i frowned at my friend and manager in charge of my meetings and deals. he and Jamal started working with me sometimes last year and i was really grateful to them.

"No way! You know I don't want to travel anywhere Ameer, my wife is out there in a place I don't know and you expect me to deal with business "i said to him and he sighed.

"Look Adal,i know your wife is out there,but i also know she is out there not wanting you to destroy your own life with your hands, supposing she was here she'll definitely make you go! So I don't want to hear any ifs and buts just get ready you are going to Singapore in two days"he said with finality in his voice and i knew it would be pointless arguing with him.

"And wait why am I the one to attend the meeting in Singapore? I thought there was one here and in canada why all the way?" I asked when I remembered there were three meetings to be attended, i can very much attend the one here.

"Well as much as I'd like to make you happy after accepting that yes indeed there are three meetings, but you can't attend the one here because you need to be out of the country "he said

"Out of the country? Why? What do you mean by that?" I asked

"Uhm..ohh..sorry...i meant you need to be the one to attend that meeting because you are the owner and the meeting in Singapore is the most important and you know we have been going after that deal and on the project for the pass three years and the last thing we want is for things to blow out of place and man you also need a change of environment you know that" he said and I nodded my head. maybe he is right.

"Whatever "i mumbled under my breath and he laughed at me shaking his head.

"So do you want me to book a hotel for you or you've got other ideas and are you planning on taking your private jet or you're flying publicly?" He asked and i furrowed my eyebrows thinking of the choice to make.

Well if i have a house over there in Singapore that I hardly ever go and booking a hotel might be stressing right? And then what happens to the house? Ah but the house is quite big and without her it would be too lonely .
As for private jet,that's what I'm taking because I really am not a fan of too many people ,i think I'd prefer to be in the safety of my jet.

"Yeah book a hotel for me but I'm taking my jet,no need for public flights" i said to him and he nodded .

"Okay well in that case hotel and jet to Singapore it is" he said and i rolled my eyes.
