Loki x Yn imagines/ oneshots

Loki comforting you when you mess up in a misson.

Today was a very important mission that you were in charge of, you knew if you screwed it up many people would be killed, you had lots of agents set up and so much to do. You were communicating with so many people, writing down so much you didn't even know what it was. Shouting so many commands to people your head was so full of stress. You had all this paper work and mission reports to fill out and had to communicate with those who had missing family members and witnesses. You were trying to keep the case out of the public eye while trying to get these people to safety and stop any current plans. Steve, Nat, Sam, Yelena and Bucky were out trying to get information and communicate with the enemy.
while Thor, Loki, Shuri, tachala and Steven were following up on leads trying to find people. Tony, Bruce, Clint, Wanda and vison we're ready to attack. Every choice you made could affect the out come of this mission and you were very nervous and stressed, nothing was going right, your opponents were too strong. You were on a million phone calls getting in new information trying to track locations and tell everyone where to go. The other shield agents trying to help as they sent in loaded planes and trying to evacuate people from the area. You had to decide if you should send Tony in to attack. Nat called you saying the had information and locations of the captured people but they were being held hostage and threatened with extreme human experimentation for information. You tried to get people out safely but nothing was working, soon the city was under attack. Teams stormed in and many people were injured or killed. Many shots were taken and You managed to get everyone out intime but their captures were still out there with plans to attack again. Everyone was returned but for some it was too late. You were so mad at yourself for failing and had to start a plan so maybe next time you wouldn't fuck it up. You were trying to figure out a plan by the time Loki came home and you ran up to hug him. 'Omg, are you ok? I am so sorry!'
'Woah hey, no it's ok I'm ok, just a couple of scratches darling. It's not your fault. How are you?' Loki asks picking you up into a hug.
'I fucked up the whole mission, it was my fault I wasn't concentrating and I waited too long, I didn't look closely enough at the information I was sent and so many people were hurt because of me!' You say with tears in your eyes holding on to Loki tightly.
'It's not your fault ok? You did your best and you saved lots of people. Even if it was anyone else running that mission the outcome would of been the same, they are very strong opponents and we can learn from this mission for the next one. Without you many more people would have been captured.' Loki says tracing circles on your back.
'I felt so useless as I watched those people get hurt, what if it happens again next time? What if I can't do anything!'
'Yn it's ok, you helped many people this was a hard mission, I am here for you even if next time something goes wrong it's ok.' Loki said twisting your hair through his fingers.
'B-bu-but what if something happens to you or anyone else and I have to know I'm responsible, I can't do that again. It's been my fault for the death of so many people.' You begin to cry harder into Lokis chest sobbing harder and harder.
'Hey, shh it's ok deep breaths, your doing so well. It's ok I'm here now do not worry about what may happen it's ok. You did so great and we will get another chance to try free these people. You did your best and it was so good ok?' Loki says placing kisses on your forehead.
You nod slightly wiping your tears. Loki carries you over to the couch and sits you down. He turns on your favourite show and snuggles up close with you and braids your hair.
Loki stands up to grab some snacks.
'Don't go, please.' You say quietly.
'I'm not going anywhere my love I'm just grabbing some snacks.' Loki comes back within a minute with all your favorite foods.
'You feeling a bit better now?' Loki asks
'I need to start planning the next mission I shouldn't be relaxing.' You say trying to stand up.
'It's ok darling don't be stressed you have time, this is one mission everyone is working on, it's not your fault if something goes wrong.'
'But I can't sit here and do nothing.' You stay fiddling with Lokis fingers.
'It's ok, just take a small break have a small rest and we can get back to it later. Let's just take some deep breaths. It's ok. You lie down and relax and I'll be with you the whole time I can wake up up when you like.' Loki says
'Ok just a small break.' You say as Loki uses his magic to put a blanket over you both. She slowly stokes your hair and you fall asleep in his arms.
