Oh thank goodness Kayla you are okay!

The front door opened !

Kayla didn't know that Carina and Maya were standing up in the dark so she tipped toes inside !

Carina cleared her throat
Ahem !

**Kayla quickly turned around as Carina turns on the lights switch **
Okay before you get upset I didn't have my phone charger so I couldn't call you
Carina: stop it
Kayla: okay... I guess I'm grounded huh
Carina: maybe. Right now I'm profoundly relieved that you are home safe. Alive in one piece but please don't ever do that again ** she said as she hugged her niece **
Maya : okay, I'm also glad you are home safe Kayla, we probably should all go to sleep the kids are going to get up early tomorrow
**Carina and Kayla both agreed **

The three women went to sleep.

**Kayla is already up and is in the kitchen with Carina who's making breakfast for her kids **

Kayla: did you think about if you were going to ground ne yet?
Carina: see the thing is , I'm a bit conflicted about it because I'm not your mom, I'm your aunt, then again I do know that I should ground you, so I really really don't know!
What would your mom do if you did this?

Kayla: well .. she would take my phone, computer and iPad away, for a week!
Carina: Woah,  wait... Violet and Scarlett please don't put your feet on the table !
Violet: okay momma!
Scarlett: okay .. sorry momma!
Carina: thank youuu girls for listening! Okay so um I don't think taking ALL OF YOUR electronics away is a good punishment!  Ughh I don't know, my kids aren't teenagers yet so I never had to punished them for these kind of things, honestly I'm just thankful you are not hurt or dead in a ditch somewhere!

**Maya comes back downstairs with a basket of laundry **
Hiii Kayla ! Did you sleep well last night?
Kayla: hi Maya, I did yes , thank you, I wish I could sleep more but that's totally my fault, no more coming home at 3ham .. ouhhhh ! Seriously... oh and you wouldn't believe what my stupid friend Steve did last night!
**Carina concerned and raised her eyebrows **. What did he do ?
** Kayla and Steve have been best friends since elementary school so Carina knows what dumb stuff he is able to do cause Steve has 4 brothers and a sister. **

Kayla: okay so there was alcohol at the party, don't worry Rina , I didn't have a single sip of alcohol, you know I can't tolerate alcohol!
**Carina nodded and gesture to her niece to continue her sentence **

Kayla: anyhow Steve has a four wheeler and he was drunk and racing on the four wheeler with his other friend Anthony, and then one of them decided to do a fucking backflip over a little sand hill and he fell on his back....
Carina: who ? Steve or Anthony ?
Maya: Woah that sounds extremely dangerous!!
Carina: yea, I agree with Maya, this is dangerous enough sober I can't even want to imagine how dangerous it would be intoxicated.. ** she shivers as the chillls came down on her back **
Kayla: I ... it's Anthony! But Steve was about to do the same thing as Anthony but when he saw Anthony didn't get back up right away he abruptly stopped his four wheeler and ran to help , Anthony is in the icu , we think he's got a spinal cord injury!
Carina: okay, what hospital did they bring him to?
Kayla: they brought him to Greys Sloan,
Carina: okay, that's where I work , we can go see him today if you want
Kayla: okay, I really would love that thank you, ** she hugged her auntie, **
You've always been my favourite aunt , I hope you know that Carina,
Kids listen to me , your momma here is really really wonderful lady and so lovely and so kind—- please don't you ever do anything stupid...
Carina: thank youuu Bambina!
**Lorenzo and Chloe both nodded **
Lorenzo: oh Kayla, I wanted to ask you did your brother called you back?
Kayla: uhh no he didn't! But I know he's okay!
She then came to Carina's ear and whispers
I don't want to keep lying to him about Caleb, but I don't know if he knows what death means!
Carina: okay,, he does know what it means but he never experienced it yet,
Kayla: okay so what do I do?
Carina: we sit him down and we explain it to him!
Kayla: okay, Lorenzo, buddy, come sit down next to me I'm going to explain something to you,
Chloe: can I listen too!
Carina: uh you can but I'm going to be here and help Kayla if she needs help , and helping you understand things !
Chloe : okay momma!
**Carina suddenly got a notification on her phone that one of her patients Just died **
Shiiit ,
Maya: what's wrong babe?
Carina: one of my patients just coded and died !
Lorenzo: died ? What does that mean?
Kayla: actually that's what I want to talk to you about....
** Carina, Maya, Chloe and Lorenzo are all sitting down on the couch **
Kayla: do you know what happens when we die?
Carina: probably not because they are eight and six, but I'll be there if you need me to help!
Kayla: okay thank you, okay so my brother Caleb, he's fourteen years old, and the reason why he wasn't answering me is because he died ! That's means he is no longer on earth.
Lorenzo: Awnn , When ?
Chloe : oh , so where is he ?
Kayla: uh he's .. ** she looks down at her hands **
Carina: when people die , and everyone on earth is going to die one day, it's just how life works, when people die they go to a beautiful place called "Heaven" with the angels and Jesus !
Chloe: okay... when do we know when we are going to die!
Maya : that's a tricky part —- anyway it's totally normal because it's how life is , we are born , we live , and then we die.
Kayla: yeah and Caleb wasn't doing too well, he didn't take care of himself he got super duper sick and then he went to live with Jesus !
Lorenzo: when did he die?
Kayla: last year! So he is always going to be fourteen because that's when he died .
Lorenzo: are we going to die at fourteen too momma?
Carina: no bambino, you don't have to worry about it okay, you guys are extremely healthy, Caleb wasn't..
Chloe: okay fiouf .
**Lorenzo and Chloe both hugged their cousin and went back to play **
