Maya: i wish my love, but i have to go to work now!!
Carina: Awnn ! Okay! ** she knows that Maya had to go to work but she still didn't want her wife to leave**
How long is your shift today?
Maya: uhhhh ! Twelve ?
Carina: twelve ? Awnn ! Okay please please be careful please! I can't keep thinking about how i would do it if lose you ...
**Maya nodded and headed out the door **

Chloe: momma I'm finished with my breakfast
Carina: okay! Go brush your teeth and get your school homework and books ready!
Scarlett : momma! Are we going to daycare today?

** Carina drove everyone to daycare and headed to work like she usually does. When she got into the main lobby of the hospital she was greeted with Jo , and a 23 weeks pregnant woman who was complaining about having contractions **

Carina: good morning Jo !
Jo: good morning Carina!
Carina: who do we got this morning?
Jo: uhhh Linda Swindle she's 23 weeks pregnant with her third child and complaining of experiencing contractions!
Linda : it's too early for me to deliver my baby! It won't survive and I'm scared
Carina: okay i know it can be scary but we got you , is there any one we can call?
Linda: my husband is parking the car he should be here soon ! Ahhhhhh ! Owwwww !
Please don't let me loose my baby or my life!
Carina: okay! Take a few deep breaths for me , in and out ! ** she has Linda breathing in and out **
Linda : have any of you been pregnant before?
**Carina jumped in **
I have yes ! Four times!
And there was a time with my second pregnancy that i really really though i was going to loose them !
Linda : them ? Did you???
Carina: i had twin girls ! One hundred percent identical. But that was extremely early on the pregnancy and I don't think I've ever told my significant other about that!
Jo : uhh Carina when did this happen? Why didn't you tell me?
Carina chuckles : see not even my colleagues knew about it!
But they both made it through! They are 3 years old and ohhh they are the light of my darkness days
Linda : okay ! Isn't that supposed to be your significant other?
Carina: oh well yea she's definitely the love of my life but she's a extremely stubborn women and she gets on my last nerves because of her job! ** she grunts her teeth and her right hand forms a fist**
Linda : okay!
Her husband : hiii honey ! Sorry it took so long to park the car , terrible parking area!
Linda : ohh it's okay! You are here now!!
Honey meet dr. Carina DELUCA and Jo Wilson !
Carina and Jo : hi !
Linda: this is my husband Tim !
Right sorry i cut you off , you were saying something about your wife's job?
Carina: oh right! Let me just place the heart monitor on correctly! She's a firefighter and she's excellent at it but i often more times than i would love to admit it's not really the perfect job when you both decide to have children, I was obviously always the one to carry... And trust me I've expressed my feelings about her job being extremely dangerous and that i don't want to become a widow and a single mother to five precious children! Anyhow I don't know why I'm rambling about all this to my patients, I never do this! I'm so sorry!!
Jo : okay...
Carina: I'm sorry... I'm going to take a few minutes to get myself together I'll be right back!
** Carina slid the curtain open and closed and took a few steps and crumbled up into a ball and began crying **

**Maya was at grey's Sloan memorial hospital dropping off an injured patient when she head a woman clearly overwhelmed and stressed out... she came closer and she found out it was her wife . She gently put her left hand on her shoulders **

Maya: everything alright babe?
**Carina jumped up and definitely wasn't expecting it to be maya **
Umm ! Yea ! Ohhh my goodness Maya ! Is everything okay? Are you hurt?
Maya: uh yeah I'm fine! We are here dropping off a patient who wanted to jump off his house and umm he has several broken bones—- but why are you crying?
Carina: I'm crying because i know your job is extremely dangerous and I know you keep repeating to yourself that sweet phrase but... i just can't shake the thought of you dying out on the job and leaving me alone with our precious children!  And I'm being sick almost every week or month now which is stressful because I rarely am sick , and then I miss important things at work and it's stressing me out... ayeeee ayyye!

Maya: babe, I'm being extra extra careful ,
Carina: babe, is there any chance that you could finish earlier then midnight today? I miss you, the kids miss you a lot....
Maya: I'm going to see what I can do Alright ?
Carina: okay thank you! Ouhhh you could say that Kayla called and I keep throwing up or something.. which isn't lying, I did spend the whole two days with a stomach bug...
Maya: okay...  you know you are extremely sexy right?  ** she gave her wife a kiss and went back to the fire truck waiting outside **

Carina: shiiit I'm being paged ! I have to go!! Thank youuu for comforting me!! I love you to the moon and back, forever and always!
