When Fengjiu got back to her room and went through the books that she had. She sighed when none of them were about theories or history. She decided to sneak into Zhe Yan's library, as he was the oldest deity in Qing Qiu. She found a couple books on Buddhists theories that she had avoided, but she would take any advice that she could get. She had read most of the history books here. She was saddened that she could find much else.
She materialized back into her room, and surrounded herself with some of the books she found. Fengjiu stayed up all night to read.

She had been able to find a small amount useful information. One of the books stated: 'Dong Hua Dijun has the most vast library in all the realms.' She smiled at this because not only would be able to see Dong Hua again, but she could have access to his library. 'Maybe something from his collection could help me decide what to do.' She further pondered, 'If I line up things correctly with where I am in the past...I would be going to visit Dong Hua anyway. Was that a coincidence?'
She picked up the book she had looked at earlier and reread the passage: 'In Buddhism, there is no such thing as a "pure coincidence." The theories claim that universe is naturally governed by the laws of cause and effect.'
She sighed to herself. "I wish I understood what was happening and what I am supposed to do."
In the morning, she was left with even more questions than answers.
Over the next two days, Fengjiu was on her best behavior which had shocked all of her family and her friends from class. They all wondered what had caused this change. While she had been internally wondering why she had gone into the past.
Fengjiu knew that she had to obtain the Jade hairpin that her Fourth Uncle made to give to Zhe Yan. Quickly, she went to his house and saw him working on the hairpin. She called his name, "Uncle?"
"Fengjiu," He stated with a smile. "I was going to go looking for you. I made you a hairpin."
She smiled and took the hairpin from him. "Thank you, Uncle."
"What is it that you need?" he asked curiously.
Fengjiu internally thought, 'Oh no! I should have thought about this more in depth...Maybe I can ask him something useful?'
She sat down next to him. "Uncle, if there is something you can't understand but you really want to...and you can't find the answer." She sighed to herself. "What should the person do?"
Her Fourth Uncle looked at her curiously and then had a pondering look on his face. "Well...I would say start with books and other immortals who know a lot. After that, if you can't find your answers...then you must let go. One day, hopefully that understanding will come to. When you obsess over what you don't know or understand, then you will only hurt yourself." He smiled at her. "Life is always moving and you must learn to move with it."
