Later that day, Dong Hua was standing at the alter and sighing. Everyone looked excited. He couldn't wait till this whole fake wedding was over. He didn't care that Immortals would talk. He thought to himself, 'I just want to get back to my peace and quiet with my Xiao Huli.'
Beside him Lian Song whispered, "Today is your wedding. Smile a little okay?"
Dong Hua just turned and glared at him, shutting him up completely. He started to think of the plan he had set up. 'Ji Heng was already gone, where Minsu, the guard had already received the news and was at the location. Things should be fine, no bride would show up.' When he saw someone else in a veil walking towards him, he was very confused but didn't let it show on his face. 'Is someone trying to trick me?' he wondered.
Suddenly, someone dressed in black ran and grabbed the bride and started to run away. Upon seeing this, Lian Song used magic to blow the person in black backwards. The veil on the fake bride blew upwards, and everyone saw it was Zhi He. Everyone around gasped, and Dong Hua just sighed. He knew this was the last time he would stand up for her. 'Zhi He is manipulative and had been even worse when Xiao Jiu was around...but this was on another level. Trying to force me into marriage.'
He watched as Lian Song unmasked the man in black. It was Yan Chiwu, and it wasn't surprising to him. He knew the boy wanted Ji Heng and was angry about the engagement. Lian Song then dragged Zhi He before him.
"Adoptive Brother," She whispered, looking afraid.
Dong Hua thought to himself, 'She should be afraid. I am done with her. I have given her too many chances.' He looked at her. "You should address me as Dijun."
"Ji Heng...Ji Heng has been missing since last night. I...I was also muddled for a moment, and thus committed a mistake. May... may Dijun consider..." Zhi He was trying to speak but it was coming out in nervous stutters.
"Do you know what the crime is of deceiving a ruler?" Dong Hua asked her with a deadly voice, that caused Zhi He to shiver with fear.
Heavenly Emperor came walking out of the Palace. Everyone bowed before him besides Dong Hua. He walked to his son, Third Highness Lian Song. He asked, "What is going on?"
"Ji Heng has disappeared," Lian Song stated, looking nervous.
Zhi He shouted angrily, "How is Ji Heng worthy to be with my adopted brother?!"
"Shut up!" Dong Hua shouted so loud that nearby birds in the Nine Heavens flew away. Then he turned around and walked away. He knew that it played along with his plan.
After Heavenly Emperor told the guards to put Lian Song and Zhi He in prison.
Dong Hua knew that a meeting was going on about his 'failed' wedding. He knew he had to show his face, so that war didn't start. He let Heavenly Emperor deal with the Demon King. Dong Hua had to make it seem like he was mad at Yan Chiwu, so he walked into the Palace and let the sword almost pierce Yan Chiwu, then he stopped it. In the corner of his eye he saw the boy was frightened, and it gave him a bit of pleasure.
