Fengjiu opened her eyes and noticed the sky had become a deep orange. It was considered 'night time' for the Heavens, even though the stars never appeared.
There was a sound of someone clearing their throat. She looked over and saw Dong Hua. 'He stayed...'
"How long was I cultivating?" she asked and tucked her long hair behind her ear.
"About 4 hours," Dong Hua answered as he put his scroll that he was reading down. "Did you see anything?"
She bit her lip. "I did. Dijun." She hesitated for a moment. "Will you trust in the words that I am going to say?"
Dong Hua thought for a moment. It is true that she had held much from him, but from what he knows, she had never viciously lied to him. He nodded. "I'll trust your words."
She took a deep breath. 'Having this aura is dangerous...but Dong Hua will not hurt me just because I have it...I think by now he likes me.'
Fengjiu took his hand and they both stood up. "Good. First we need to go to your room."
His eyes widened. "W-What?" Dong Hua did not understand why Fengjiu was being so bold as to want to be in his room.
He thought. 'True, she had been in my room when she was a fox...but this was different.'
"Er...Princess. It's not good to go in a mans room. Didn't you father teach you?" he asked, feeling frustrated.
He wondered, 'Has she casually been in other men's room?'
She pulled him along. "Yes, and you're the only man's room that I would ever go into."
His eyes widened. "Uh..."
Fengjiu realized what he was thinking about. She sighed. "Don't worry. It's nothing that you are thinking." They walked to the front of his door. "You have powerful wards in your room and no one can hear us. This is private."
Dong Hua's body felt strange. "We can't-"
She put her palm to her forehead and sighed. 'He still thinks I'm trying to sleep with him.'
"I have some important information for you," she quickly told him. "Now please, let us inside so I can tell you where no one else can hear."
'So she wasn't trying to seduce me...but why do I feel slightly disappointed?... No that can't be right.' He shook his head at those thoughts.
Once they stepped in, Fengjiu could see the ward around the room. She walked over to the table in his room and sat down. "Please sit down."
Dong Hua sat down and waited. To him, it seemed she was having a hard time. She obviously wanted to tell him something.
"I know what I am about to say will be shocking, but please don't be angry with me or think me a liar," Fengjiu pleaded. She had no idea how he would react in this setting, as Dong Hua from the past had no idea that she had the aura inside of her until the moment Miao Luo took it.
"I won't be angry with you or think you're a liar," Dong Hua promised with a serious expression. "Now tell me."
"A little over 30,000 years ago, there was a war. The war had started in Qing Qiu and raged for a full day until you were told." Fengjiu started by saying.
Dong Hua nodded. 'I remember that war against Miao Luo...the day I finally subdued her.'
"That day, you both were fighting in astral realm. When you stabbed her through the chest, she released two blood drops from her heart, each had a wisp of her magic. Both of those drops fell to the Immortal realms," She stated.
