When Fengjiu made it to the study. She sighed, 'Please don't love her. Please don't love her.'
She saw the Eunuch's and two guards standing in the front. She informed them, "I request an audience with the Emperor."
The Chief Eununch nodded she saw the Chief Eunuch walk inside. He stated, "Informing Your Majesty, Leader Bai requests an audience."
Xuanren's face brightened and he smiled. "Xiao Jiu! Quickly come in!" He didn't know why his whole mood went from annoyed by his concubine's presence to being glad that Xiao Jiu visited. He thought to himself, 'I know he has a lot of adjusting to do. He had to train under Qingti to make sure he was ready to be a full time guard.'
Xuanren asked with a gentle smile, "Xiao Jiu, why are you here?"
Fengjiu saw the beautiful woman, Jieyun Wan, at his desk. Then she looked at Xuanren. She held her big scroll with the weapon design and bowed. "This subject respectfully greets Your Majesty, and Jieyun Wan."
"Forego the formalities," he told her.
Fengjiu nodded. "Thank you, Your Majesty." Then she looked up at him with a smile. "I drew a dagger design. I hope Your Majesty can look at it."
Xuanren looked shocked. 'I heard how good Xiao Jiu is a fighting and archery...now good a designing weapons? This man is amazing.'
He asked, "You also know how to design weapons?"He smiled and lifted his hand. "Come."
Fengjiu walked over to him and unraveled the scroll and handed it to him.
He laid it on his desk and looked at it in shock. 'What is this? It's not just a dagger... it can be used in other ways.'

Xuanren said out loud, "This dagger can become a long sword, a stealth weapon, and an iron bow?" He looked up at her in shock. 'This is revolutionary.' He continued, "An item with multiple uses. Really clever."
Fengjiu looked over to the side and saw the woman looking at her closely, as if she was trying observe her. It was then she wondered, 'Is this woman an immortal too? She is beautiful enough...and Nie Chuyin had no problem using Immortals before.' She further thought, 'I need to ask Si Ming about this.'
Then she looked back at the Emperor and replied, "Your Majesty, you have great vision. You were able to understand this weapon design with one look." She smiled.
Xuanren kept looking down and was constantly amazed by the ingenuity. He asked, "Xiao Jiu, can I borrow this weapon draft to copy?" He looked at him with a hopeful expression.
Fengjiu smiled at him. "If Your Majesty likes it, just take it."
She saw Xuanren looked stunned to be given the scroll, when he had only asked to borrow it. He turned to look at his concubine. "Jieyu Wan, leave first."
