In the morning, Fengjiu knew it was time to reveal herself. When she found Chief Eunuch, she told him, "Please get His Majesty and inform him that I found the lady who fell in the water. Bring him back to my rooms."
Chief Eunuch looked shocked but happy. "His Majesty will be so happy! She will need to be ready, I'll send maids right away." He ran off with excitement.
Fengjiu sighed nervously. 'I hope things go exactly the same way.' She shook her head. 'Of course they will.'
She knew that maids would be sent by the Chief Eunuch. Fengjiu went into her room and quickly unbound her breasts, then took her hair down from the bun and wiped the makeup off her forehead with water, revealing the bright red birthmark.
Xuanren was walking with Qingti. He asked, "Qingti, how is the task of creating the daggers?"
Qingti smiled. "Your Majesty, do not worry. I have already gathered the best blacksmiths in our state. I will surely not let Xiao Jiu's hard work be in vain."
Xuanren nodded and smiled as well. "Since I had a clever person like Xiao Jiu, my mood has relaxed a lot."
He thought to himself, 'If it wasn't for Xiao Jiu last night...I would have sunk into despair.' Then heard a shout behind him. "Your Majesty!" He turned around to see his Chief Eunuch running towards him and gasping for breath.
Xuanren said, "Slow down. Why are you in a rush?"
He thought to himself, 'He is too old to be running like that.'
Chief Eunuch took a deep breath. "Leader Bai said he found the lady who fell into the water!" He smiled brightly.
Xuanren felt his heart start pounding in his chest. "What?" he asked breathlessly.

A moment later Fengjiu heard a knock and walked over to open the door. The maids stared at her in shock. They glanced at her black robes and her red birthmark. They were probably shocked to find out she was a girl, because they knew her to be Xiao Jiu.
One of them stopped staring and said, "We are here to help you prepare for the Emperor."
"No need, I already bathed this morning. I can do the rest," Fengjiu stated.
They looked shocked as she took the robes, jewelry, shoes, and small hairpin from them. Fengjiu went into her room and took the black robes off and put on the beautiful light pink ones. She combed out her long dark hair and put the beautiful pin inside of it. She used the lip tint paper on her lips and then looked at herself in the mirror.
