Keys jingled as Paula opened the door to the safe house and walked inside first. She turned on a lamp before the rest of us entered and checked every nook and cranny with flashlights. Thankfully it was clear. Abraham kept an eye out for the other Saviors as Rick watched Paula patch up Primo's leg.

Daryl and I scavenged around the house as Carol looked for weapons. As we scavenged Carol came into the same room as me and quietly shut the door behind her.

"Find anything?" I asked.

Carol remained quiet as she crouched next to me. "What was that all about back there?"

"We needed answers so I made sure we got them."

"No, not that!" Carol whispered.

"Then I don't know what you mean." I shook my head as I dug through the desk in the office.

"You said that they were just Negan's slaves. What if one of them is Negan?"

"Owen told me that they all call themselves Negan. It's a way of protecting the actual leader." I stood and made my way over to a filing cabinet.

"But how do you know for sure that they aren't Negan?"

I froze in my tracks and slowly turned to Carol. I shrugged, "Just a hunch."

Carol shook her head as her eyes narrowed at me, "You're lying."

"Carol," I was cut off by Rick calling for us. Carol released a frustrated sigh as we made our way back to the front room.

"What is it?" Carol asked.

"He's patched up now so we better tie them up. Figured you two could handle her while we tie him up." Rick explained as he tossed us some rope. Carol worked on Paula's feet while I tied her hands behind her back. I patted her down and made sure she had no hidden weapons.

"How did you do that?" Paula softly asked.

"Do what?" My brows furrowed.

"Get that knife?"

"That's a top secret." I winked as I rose to my feet.

"Your necklace," Paula paused. My face hardened as I slowly turned back to her. "Where did you find it?"

"Like I said before, I ain't telling you shit." I crouched beside her. Both Primo and Paula sat on an old couch in the corner of the room.

"I saw him take it to a graveyard not too far from here. He said he wanted it be where it belonged."

"He who?" I eyed her suspiciously. Before she could answer Abraham informed us that two trucks rolled up. I jogged to the window and peeked out. Sure enough two big trucks were outside and many people piled out.

"Gag them!" Rick said to Carol.

"How many are there?" Daryl asked from behind me.

"So far I've counted fifteen." Abraham scratched his beard.

"Daryl and Ruby head out to shoot them down from the forest. Carol will stay here to hold down the fort while Abraham and I shoot from the top windows. Wait for my signal!" Rick instructed. I quickly grabbed my bow and backpack as I slung them over my shoulder and ran out the back door with Daryl. I double checked my revolver to ensure I had bullets. I only had three so I needed to make each shot count.

Daryl and I crouched through the trees being careful of our footing as we approached the people that walked towards the house. I arched back an arrow and aimed at a man that looked trigger happy.

The sound of glass breaking and gun shots rang off as four men dropped dead. Daryl and I shot our arrows at the men and women nearby. We took down six as Rick, Carol and Abraham took down more.
