"Come here!" I yelled.
"What's wrong?" He ran into the bathroom and froze as his eyes widened at the pregnancy test in my hand.
"It's positive!" I smiled with glee.
"I... uh.." he stuttered. I embraced him tightly.
"I'm pregnant! We're having a baby!" Tears of joy escaped from my eyes. I released him from my death grip expecting him to be filled with joy but instead his face held anger! His face turned a deep shade of red and his body started to shake.
"What's wrong?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"You can't be pregnant!" His breathing became deep and ragged as his anger rose.
"I can take another test." I caressed his face with my hands.
"We're going to the doctor!" He snatched my wrist in his hand and drug me out of the bathroom.
"Wait! What's wrong?" I yelled as he continued dragging me down the steps to the front door of his house.
"I thought you were taking the pill." He said with a hint of annoyance in his tone. He slid on his shoes and threw me a jacket.
"I stopped taking them two weeks ago." I swallowed the lump in my throat, not knowing how he was gonna react.
"Two weeks ago!? When were you gonna tell me about this big decision? But more importantly, why did you make this decision without me?" He screamed in my face.
"I thought you wanted a baby." I squeaked out as his body towered over mine.
"No! When the heck did you ever get that idea?" He leaned against the front door. Blocking my nearest exit to escape.
"I-I," I stuttered as I shook in fear.
"You what? You thought that I was ready to settle down because I let you live here?" I stared at my foot, battling the tears that wanted to escape. "Am I reading into that right, darlin'?"
When I didn't answer him he put his fist through the wall next to me making me jump back in fear and stare into his black eyes. "I asked you a question!"
"Yes, you're right." I breathed out shakily as tears dropped down my cheeks. "As always."
He sighed and paced in a circle. "How are we going to overcome this?" He said more to himself. That's when a smirk appeared on his face. "Or should I say how are you going to resolve this?"
My eyes widened and I had to quickly brainstorm, "I will go to the doctor and get tested," I started.
"No! Start over." He crossed his arms over his chest and cocked an eyebrow at me.
"We will go to the doctor that way you can see the test result. If it's negative then we have nothing to worry about." I paused, my lips trembling.
"But if it is..?" He trailed on and waited for me to complete the sentence.
"If it is positive I will get an abortion." I sobbed as the words escaped my mouth.
