Kaiketsu of Zorro - Diego x reader

Chapter 6

It was another beautiful morning as you woke up to the sound of someone knocking on your door.

"Goodness Gracious, what's wrong with these people!-"

You thought to yourself in your head as you scrambled out of your bed to the door. You opened the door up and saw Diego smiling at you. You remembered that you were in your nightgown and looked at him with discomfort.

"Sorry!"

He nervously chuckled.

"I think I woke you up."

He paused.

"Or just startled you a little."

He laughed a little and looked at you with his normal face now.

"Me and Bernard decided to go out to town today, and we thought, that if you want, we can take you with us to town."

You stared at him for a second and smiled.

"Sure, just wait a couple of minutes for me."

He nodded and left downstairs. You closed the door and quickly changed and washed up before going. While brushing your hair, you thought to yourself about how weird Diego may be sometimes. First, he may be playful and fun, but the next, he can turn extremely serious. He may be next to you one second, but disappear the next. You finished brushing your hair and ran downstairs to the wagon in the front yard where Diego and Bernard were. You got in and the wagon went off to town. 

                                                  *Time Skip To Your Shopping Spree Aka The Middle Of It*

Bernard and you walked by the shop with fish and Bernard accidentally got pinched by a still-living crab.

"Ow! Let my finger go!"

You giggled a little at his childish behavior and knelt down to take the crab off of his hands. You took the crabs two big legs and took them off of Bernard's finger quickly.

"Ow!"

He yelped.

"My finger is red now!"

You heard Diego walk in from behind you and comment.

"Well, it wouldn't have happened if you didn't provoke him."

You smiled to yourself and put the crab carefully back to where it was.

"Yes, we'll take 3 cods please!"

You heard Diego say as you turned to where he was looking. You saw a tall guy with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a blue and black shirt with white pants. He was indeed handsome, but you withheld from doing anything stupid and continued minding your own business until you saw Diego walk up to the guy and talk to him like they were old friends. You were a little confused so you came closer with Bernard to ask. You came closer towards the two with Bernard, wondering who that person was.

"Diego, who is this?"

You asked, looking at the tall guy with brown hair.

"Oh. This is Teo. We were friends in Spain. He helped me practice fencing when we were studying together at the University of Spain. He's an amazing fencer actually."

You nodded while looking at him intently.

"Nice to meet you."

You answered and bowed. Teo's face softened and he gave you a small smile.

"Nice to meet you too."

He answered. He held out his right hand for you to shake. You took his hand and shook it looking him right in the eyes. There was some sort of uneasy tension between you but it went away once Teo commented.
