You were making stew in the kitchen when Gonzalez visited Diego and Bernard. You were silently making stew while Gonzalez shared the news he had for Diego and Bernard.

"Lately, there were lots of robberies going on in the woods. Most of the robberies happened to people riding carriages and most of them were rich. The robbers would stop the carriages and steal all the money and jewelry people had with them. All of the victims reported that during the robbery they weren't able to move. None of them. Most of the people who were robbed were women though. They wear so much jewelry all the time, that it probably attracts too much attention."

Diego crossed his legs and nodded as he looked across the table at Gonzalez.

"I think it's really stupid to wear so much jewelry when going to visit or at special events and ceremonies. It's their fault they get robbed."

Gonzalez loudly munched on his food as you passed him another bowl of stew.

"Yeah, I know. Women that always walk around and try to show off their jewelry deserve that."

When Gonzalez said those words, Maria walked in and slammed the teapot she was holding, right unto the table. The guys were so surprised to see her there.

"You stupid fools!"

She exclaimed. Now it was your turn to be shocked. To hear Maria, say that? That caught you off-guard.

"So, like normal men. You don't understand anything about women!"

Before she started to explain why you tried to act as invisible as you can to not attract attention. Since, if they ask you your opinion, then you'll have two choices. One: Agree with Maria and get hated on by the guys. Or two: agree with the guys and get hated on by Maria.

"A woman has to take care of herself all the time. And wearing jewelry is a part of the art of being a woman!"

All the guys stared at her as though she fell off a tree and knocked her head. She sighed and turned around to look at you.

"Y/N tell them."

You nervously looked around the room and didn't know what to say. Lately, Diego's words and thoughts started mattering to you a lot. Whenever you wore a dress, you wanted to know Diego's opinion of it for some reason. Or that one time you cleaned the entire living room, or when you set up flowers in the kitchen. You wanted to know Diego's opinion. But you didn't know why his stupid opinion mattered to you. He's just another stupid playboy that doesn't deserve your attention. So, why did his opinion matter to you that much? You didn't want to hurt Diego's feelings, but at the same time, you knew women deserve to show off once in a while too.

"I think that as long as the girl wears a normal amount of jewelry that doesn't bring too much attention, then she should be fine."

Everyone didn't know how to react to what you said, so you quickly left the room without another word. You were too embarrassed by all of them staring at you after your own honest opinion. Later that day, Diego went to his room and stayed there for hours after hanging out with Bernard. You didn't know what he was doing there, but you assumed it was studying, reading, or being in depression. With either of these, you wanted to support him, so you decided to make him a cup of coffee. You went to the kitchen, to fetch him one, and bring it to his room. When you came to the door of his room, Bernard was already there. He opened the door, and you followed him in.

"Hello, Diego!"

Bernard greeted him in his usual excitement.

"Hello, Bernard."

Diego lazily answered from the pile of books next to him.

"Um, hello Diego. I brought you a cup of coffee since you're reading right now. I thought it would help you stay focused."
