The moment Bud and his wife arrived to pick up their kids, Bud immediately pulled them both into a hug and spun while laughing in celebration. "Congratulations, my children!"

Gideon smiled. "Thanks, dad!" he hugged him back. While he only got second place, he never felt bad for it, because his parents were always proud of him for his efforts.

"Thank you, dad." Pacifica smiled.

Mrs. Corduroy picked her up, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Congratulations for getting first place, my daughter." she kissed Gideon's cheek. "And congratulations for being on the podium."

"Thanks mom!" Gideon smiled at her, kissing her cheek back.

"Thanks," Pacifica paused, pensively, then smiled. "Mom."

Mrs. Corduroy looked a bit surprised, but happiness filled her afterwards. Bud put his children down. "Well, because you got first place, Paz, I've got you a little something! It was totally not a gift I'd give you anyways." he laughed a bit.

Pacifica's curiosity could be seen in her eyes. "What is it?"

Bud opened the door of the front passenger seat and took out a small box that was already a bit opened. "Here it is!" he said. "I'm terrible at wrapping gifts, I'm sorry."

"I told you I could help." Mrs. Corduroy said, in a chiding tone.

"I know, I'm sorry." Bud smiled nervously. "But at least it makes it easier for you to open, Pacifica." he gave the box to Pacifica. "Hope you like it!"

Pacifica opened the box, her eyes widening at the view. She pulled out a cap from the box: shaped like the head of a llama, even with the little ears, and had a face at the front; Pacifica smiled. "I love it!" she said. "Thanks, dad."

Bud seemed surprised, but a happy surprised, because his smile grew. "You're welcome, daughter."

Pacifica put the cap over her head. The four got inside of the car and Pacifica looked at her reflection on the rearview mirror, smiling. One medal and a gift? Even if it was simple, it was honest and she loved it. How could she not? The cap felt like it was made for her.

Huh, funny. Delilah, Dinara, or whatever her name actually is, called her Llama. The cap is shaped like a llama's head. Does that mean something? Did she know something about this? Perhaps samodivas have future vision or something, she couldn't tell. All she knew is that she was going home now, and then, she'd be off to rest. This time, she had to memorise the spells again, and for good. Hopefully, panic won't distract her again.

As they got back to the shack, Bud parked the car in the garage. Gideon quickly opened the door and jumped out of the car, with Pacifica following on a slower pace. Mrs. Corduroy and Bud followed as well. Gideon stopped to wait for Pacifica, before once again, pulling her by her wrist and rushing to the checkout counter inside of the Corduroy Shack, the shop area. Soos was telling a customer to have a nice day as said customer almost bumped into Gideon and Pacifica on their way out. Pacifica gave them an apologetic smile, still allowing Gideon to drag her around.

"Soos! Soos! Look!" Gideon pointed at Pacifica's medal. "Paz won!"

"Really?" Soos smiled. "Congrats, dude."

"Thanks." Pacifica said. "Wait, you don't watch the competitions?"

"Oh, I do." Soos replied. "But they're all broadcasted at the same time on TV, so I chose to watch Gideon's." he explained. "Mrs. Corduroy and Bud were watching with me, but also watching yours on another TV."
