Stan Cipher walked in the living room in the best mood. He was thrilled, happy, things were going just amazing for him. He saw Melody standing near the couch and flashed her a boisterous grin. "Melody! My best bodyguard!" he exclaimed. "What a fantastic day, don't you think?"

Melody turned her head to Stan. "You're in a very good mood, Mr. Cipher," she said. "Did something exciting happen?"

"Oh, nothing much," Stan said. "I'm just in a good mood, you know?" he chuckled and threw himself on the couch. "Come here, Melody, join me!"

Melody went to the couch and sat down with Stan. She took the remote and turned on the TV. "What do you want to see?"

"Put on a random channel," Stan said. Melody did as he said and put on the news channel. "There's nothing that could ruin my mood."

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have incredible news! Our newest star, Wendy Wonder, is on a date with the one and only Dipper Cipher!"

"What?!"

"Oh boy," Melody thought.

"Our reporter Susan Jimenez is with our newest couple right outside the restaurant! Hey, Susan, how is it going in there with the lovebirds?"

"There are two of the brightest stars of Falling Gravity, Wendy Wonder and Dipper Cipher," Susan said. Next to her, Wendy smiled sweetly, and Dipper tried to keep a smile, but his nervousness was visible — to Stan and Melody, at least, since they knew him well — in his eyes. Susan turned to them. "Say, what are the plans for tonight?"

"Tonight it'll be just a little date, to see if it will work out," Wendy said.

Dipper turned to her with a raised eyebrow. "That's now what I told you—"

"I really think we're a match made in heaven," Wendy said, then winked at Dipper, who avoided eye contact.

"Oh my stars! Is Dipper Cipher flustered?" Susan asked.

Dipper turned to her with wide eyes, no blush on his face. "Wha— no! I'm not!"

"That's what we'll see!" Susan looked at the cameraman in front of her. "Is this date going to work out? Is Wendy Wonder going to become Wendy Cipher? What will the ship name be? Wendip? Dipendy?" she gasped. "Wendipperdy!"

"That stupid brat!" Melody immediately turned off the TV. Stan stood up with an enraged look on his face and took the remote from Melody. "I can't believe that little fake-magical wannabe is trying to get to my family!" he threw the remote on the TV.

A golden flame whirled on it, preventing the remote to hit the TV. Stan and Melody looked behind the couch, seeing a tall silhouette standing at the door-hole between the living room and the kitchen. The figure stepped in and spun his finger, the flames made the remote fly towards him and he grabbed it. The flames disappeared once he got it on his hands.

"What are you having a tantrum for?"

Stan cleansed his fist. "Dipper is out on a date, Ford!"

Ford raised an eyebrow. "Oh, wow," he said. "Well, I didn't expect that, he never said anything about wanting a romantic relationship with anyone,"

"Ford, you don't understand!" Stan said.

"I would understand if you explained to me," Ford said.

"He's on a date with Wendy!"

Ford blinked. "Um, okay?" he said, partially confused. "I met the girl, she is a bit weird, especially with that gigantic bouffant," he said, murmuring the last part. "What's the problem, again?"
