"Come on! It's not too far from here!" Pacifica exclaimed.

Gideon, Tiffany and Alex followed Pacifica to a hall in the Circus. While Gideon didn't think he should, he let Alex and Tiffany go first while he followed from behind. At first, he thought there was something odd with his sister, but after seeing her mind blocked, he was sure that she wasn't his sister at all. The real questions are: Where is his real sister? Who is that? What does this person want?

There was only one way to find out. But Alex and Tiffany were around and he couldn't just show off his magic to random people. While he liked Pacifica's friends, he still didn't trust them. The amulet wouldn't trust anyone he didn't trust, but, sometimes, it distrusted random people at all, even if he trusted it. Also, he wasn't sure they even knew about the supernatural that surrounded their town, and this situation is definitely not a good start.

"Pacifica," Tiffany started. "Where are we going?"

"To see something fun." Pacifica turned the corner and followed to the left hall. "C'mon, I'm sure you'll like it as much as I did."

"You're excited for this." Alex said. "It's good, but—"

"Oh yes, I'm very excited." The tone in Pacifica's voice didn't match the Pacifica Gideon knew. It was mischievous, rather threatening — a mastermind with a plan in action, close to victory.

"Um, Pacifica."

Pacifica turned around, smiling. "Yes, little brother?"

Gideon held back a frown, feeling super weirded out by weird her excited tone. "Can we talk. . . Privately?"

"I don't think there is anywhere we can talk privately." Pacifica said. "If we find a room, we'll stop there."

That answer was another confirmation of her not being the real Pacifica. But what could it be? Did she clone herself by accident? Tyrone said that it was possible — an incident from years ago, just a day after he got his blind eye, which involved Northwest as well somehow. But that's not what matters now. He needed to get the truth, and bring his sister back.

Luckily, there was a door nearby. Gideon didn't even want to know what that was, he just got through Alex and Tiffany, causing them to gasp and scold him as he pushed them away, grab Pacifica's wrist and pull her inside of the room, shutting the door behind. As soon as the door was shut, he held his amulet. A blue glow surrounded Pacifica, who was lifted off the ground with a surprised look stopping right above the door, and the doorknob, so it wouldn't open.

"Who are you?"

Pacifica blinked. "Gideon, what are you—"

"Drop the act." Gideon demanded. "I know my sister. Who are you?"

"I'm your sister."

"Liar." Gideon frowned. "Who are you?"

"Brother—"

"Don't make me ask a fourth time." Gideon said, his tone cold and serious, threatening even.

Pacifica's expressão turned from surprise to seriousness. "You," she smirked. "Really are hard trick."

Gideon smiled, although not from happiness. "Well, let's just say I'm good at reading."

"But you can't read me, can you?"

Gideon frowned. "I may not be able of reading your mind — but that doesn't mean I can't figure you out."

"Then tell me, little Gideon," Pacifica's smile grew. "Who am I?"

Gideon gulped silently, a sweat on his forehead. His eyes flickered to the door, pensively, thinking. Doesn't he know someone like this? That talks with that tone? Lots of people do — but, one in particular. Who? Could it be from Wendy's cult? Or was it really a shapeshifter? An evil clone like Tyrone's past case?
