Mabel sat quietly on the bed. She was so lonely in that tower, no one could come visit her. Not because they didn't want to, but because he ordered. She was being punished for her defeat, and now, she understood why her brother hated being there to much. The darkness in that room gave her chills; she wasn't afraid of the darkness itself, but of the images that appeared in it when she looked. She looked up at the only window, a small quare with two bars blocking her from leaving. She closed her eyes and held the covers.
Knock knock.
Mabel let the covers go and frowned towards the door. Who could that be so late at night? At least she assumed it was late, she couldn't really tell when time passed except when the sun had set and risen. She stood up and walked towards the door, then waited in silence for someone to say something.
"Are you still awake, May May?"
Her eyes went wide. "Tyrone?"
"Yes, it's me." he replied.
Mabel smiled for a second, but it disappeared in a blink. "Y—You shouldn't be here,"
"I know, I just. . . missed you."
Her brother was really persistent. They hoped that nothing would happen to Dipper and he wouldn't find them there. Mabel closed her eyes and put her back on the door. "I missed you too, bro-bro." She heard a soft sound on the other side. "Did you sit down?"
"Yeah," Dipper replied. "Wanna sit with me?"
Mabel knew they wouldn't be really sitting next to each other, but sat down with her back to the door. She opened her eyes and looked sideways at the door. "How was your day?"
Dipper replied after a few seconds. "It was nice," he said. "I've been hanging out with the Corduroy siblings."
Hm. Interesting. He's been hanging out with the girl that had managed to outmatch her. "Why?"
"They were in trouble at the lake and I just happened to follow their magic trail, and tonight was a coincidence," he said. "Grunkle Stan and I went to a show and they happened to be there."
"Was Melody with you?" Mabel asked.
"You know she was."
Mabel giggled. "Of course she was." she went silent for a short moment. "How's Candy and Grenda?"
"They miss you a lot," Dipper replied. "They brought you some stuff, but you'll have to wait until you're out of there to get it."
"I know, bro-bro," Mabel wrapped her arms around her legs. "I know."
"And now I'm sharing a room with a pig."
Mabel blinked twice, that sentence came out of nowhere. She giggled, then let out a big laugh. Dipper laughed along with her a little later. "You and Waddles are getting along, now?"
"Hey, hey, I'm tolerating him," Dipper said. "Doesn't mean we're on goods terms, I'm still mad at the — literal — pig."
Mabel rolled her eyes. "Sure, whatever," she let out one last giggle, then changed the subject. "You said something about a show, what was it about? What show? Does Grunkle Stan approve of this?"
